It’s the epitome of hygge. Love this place.
Always stop when in Sturgeon Bay. Great coffee and food. Nice outside patio and street seating!
Smiles and Chai. I always enjoy the friendly service when visiting Kick!
TOURISTS!!! 🥰🥰 Door County has a difficult time finding employees, so the fact that this quaint/essential biz is still open any day of the week while juggling her two kids is respectable. Also… read on, THE COFFEE IS GREAT TOO.
There are many places to get a great cup of coffee in Sturgeon Bay, but if I could only visit one, it would be Kick. Their roasts were exquisite, their shots expertly pulled, and their service was inviting. You can get a great coffee just about anywhere, but Kick seemed to offer a coffee experience that is perfectly aligned with what I enjoy most.
Thank you so much for having gluten free options! And the decor is so fun.
Havana sandwich for lunch. The Havana is a Cubano without the pan cubano. The sandwich arrived crisp and warm. The shop had a few different warm and cool sandwiches on offer. Seating available out front on the sidewalk, inside, and on their back patio. The shop is situated on the north west side of N 3rd Ave which serves as the Sturgeon Bay downtown.
Cozy atmosphere. The Americano was good, the breve was delicious, and the crumble cookie was a nice sweet contrast with the bitter flavors. Cozy interior with a good selection of teas, espresso drinks, and coffees. They have a larger outdoor seating area behind the building for when it gets busy. Definitely a good place to stop for coffee.
Nice little coffee stop with great staff. While seating is limited inside, there is seating out front and a really nice patio area in back with several tables with umbrellas that I just used recently. If you haven't been to the shop before you might not realize that area is available.
Always great, had the Havana sandwich and an iced tea, totally hit the spot. Truly tasted like a homemade sandwich. Super nice staff as well. Recommended!
The staff was super kind and made us feel welcome. The food was absolutely delicious, and the back patio was super nice.
Simple relaxed coffee shop on 3rd street. Quiche and smoothies are good, and if it goes cold they'll microwave it to warm it back up.
There was a nice girl training at the register and while we were still in the building, the owner was yelling at her making a scene in front of everyone even though the girl training was doing just fine and doing her best. The owner created a hostile/toxic environment, would not recommend.
There was a new person in training and the owner or I assume the owner was so rude. Telling her “treat is like a job I’m paying you” and she was trying her hardest. The fact that she was saying these things in front of costumers looked so bad. Never going there again and don’t recommend.
Great service, amazing breakfast sandwiches, warm atmosphere, great ambient, nice patio, coffee hits the spot 👌👍😊
Friendly, efficient, and comfortable place. Also, the coffee is pretty good. Update 4/2/2022: Kick has added Door County Cannabis products to its selection of products available, in addition to still offering baked goods from Sunflour Bakery. Still has great Collectivo Coffee and wonderful service.
I went here in October of 2021 and was super impressed. Excellent coffee and lovely staff. I would make this my go-to if I lived here. 10 gold stars from a Seattle chick!
The food and beverages were really good and made by a great crew. The ladies behind the counter are friendly and treated everyone great.
We were at the end of a bicycle ride and Kick was recommended by a passing local. Our lattes (Caramel and Mexican), Reuben sandwiches and cake for dessert were very tasty. The sandwiches were so large we should have skipped dessert. The staff was efficient and gracious. There were customers coming in up until closing and nothing but smiles from behind the counter. We didn't have a long wait but I hope they're able to hire a few more people so current staff doesn't burnout.
The lady working the counter was very rude. I don't think I'll give this business anymore of my money
