I’m local, but do not live very close to DCC&T so it’s a rare treat if I go out of my way to drive there to get a coffee. I was so excited yesterday that I made the trip! I’m 8 months pregnant and at the time felt I needed/craved an iced coffee. I pulled up to the drive thru window, off the bat the lady wasn’t very nice, fine, no judgment, coffee (large iced caramel latte) was $6.07, fine, my choice, that’s what I wanted. Tipped $2, cool, that’s just what I do. The lady comes back and quickly hands me a coffee and took off. The coffee she handed me was a large hot coffee of some kind. I tried to get her attention right away but I guess she didn’t hear me. I stayed at the window for 2 minutes, my car window was rolled down, I was holding up my coffee, I was waving my other hand at another lady that was working and in view of the drive thru window. But no one came. I didn’t have time to go into the building as I was on my way to a doctors appointment. I couldn’t drink whatever it was she gave me. Just made me really sad, I won’t be making the special trip there anymore. There are many great coffee shops in door county I can go to instead.
Service was slow on Sunday morning, but the coffee was really good.
Bakery was good, the buristats and servers not very friendly. Was not greated had to ask for menus after we noticed they served food. Both are meals had eggs they were very runny and grainy gritty clearly made from powdered eggs giving it a weird texture and not edible. Very disappointed. Coffee was good. The ladies in the gift shop were very friendly.
We're not really fans of flavored coffee, but we were pleasantly surprised to find they have a good regular dark roast. And their bakery is delicious! Yummy scotcharoos (that are also gluten free) and massive chocolate chip cookies. Everything was very reasonable in price. We'll be back!
Really great bakery and flavored coffees! Nice, easy stop for a snack on your way into or out of northern Door County!
Where to start? Quaint and charming shop that also serves light breakfast (nothing hearty) as well as a variety of coffee's. Where to end? the breakfast was okay -nothing to boast about. It did the job. I ordered a smoothy which was anything but. I could have just ordered a pop with as much additives and sugar they put in it. It was not a natural organic smoothy made with fresh fruits or vegetables but rather a syrup smoothy. In addition to this, the Customer Service was horrible. Not a smile, not a pleasant greeting, not even a thank you or come again or enjoy your day. The young lady wanted to be anywhere but there. As someone who is big on CS, this is a breaker for me. Do not expect any southern hospitality here nor any basic level of manners.
My wife and I are so spoiled with Door County coffee that we have to order it for our home in Minnesota. I made a pot of coffee to fill my thermos to go duck hunting. My duck hunting guide was sitting 5 to 10 feet away from me in the duck blind when I opened my thermos. He exclaimed with a loud question, "What do you have in there? It smells so good." I told him it was Door County coffee with some kind of Maple flavor. He said "I can tell and it smells so good." So spoiled...
When in the area, I'll swing by for a hot coffee and the prices aren't bad for Door Cty.
Love the coffe, but girls at the coffee counter are not very friendly. I live in the area and go often and have experienced this "attitude" each visit. My husband and I are veterans and on Veterans Day I asked if there was a special and the girl tossed a coffee sample on the counter and said this is it. I am appreciative for the free coffee, but how about a "thank you for your service" or even a smile? I too have worked in customer service, I know how it works. There are not always pleasant customers, but I am always friendly to all servers.
Cozy, comfortable like your favorite sweater. Love the fireplace in the dining room! Great breakfast, reasonably priced, iced chai was perfect.
The wait was crazy long when we were here, but the service is really good, and the coffee is outstanding. They have a large shop area, and they sell all kinds of decorations and souvenirs. They have a huge wall of bagged coffee, and my husband has yet to find a flavor he doesn't like.
Great place to buy their amazing coffee. There are also great gift items here too.
Both locals and tourists enjoy this delightful coffee, tea and breakfast restaurant and gift shop. They serve many of the best products from Door County. You will enjoy visiting this place.
What a great place to stop on your way into Door County or on your return home. They have a bakery for some quick pastries, a bistro for a quick bite for breakfast or lunch, and their vast assortment of coffee (ground or beans). Plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy a cup on a beautiful day.
Coffee aroma was very good. Packed house last weekend with a slow checkout. Their coffee is very good.
This brand of canned coffee is absolutly hands down the nastiest.
Just great. Breakfast scones and turnovers great. Coffee second to none. I order this online when not in door county
Really enjoyed the Chai latte. There's lovely sitting space outside to relax in. The store inside sells a variety of local food products in addition to their own bagged teas and coffees. Very cute vibes
Love their coffee! Always order online. Drove up from Milwaukee just to visit and have lunch there. Yummy veggie wrap and iced PSL! Adorable atmosphere, cute patio and well stocked, adorable gift store.
Love ❤️ Door County Coffee. Always friendly , and awesome coffee and food. The outside additions are wonderful.
