This was a very nice little coffee shop. They were extremely busy due to the farmers market, but still seemed to make quick work of the long lines. They even had an outdoor window for quick beverages, helping to ease the pressure of the crowd.
Really delicious lattes. The vanilla latte is definitely very vanilla (maybe so much so that it a wee bit bitter). And, in contrast, the maple latte didn’t have as strong as a maple taste as one might anticipate. Finally, the latte art varied from day to day (see photos). Otherwise really nice staff, and interesting assortment of beans. Wish they had more natural process beans than washed processed.
Great vegan apple muffin and regular blueberry muffin. Good lattes too. Nice place and friendly staff.
Stopped by on a cold farmers market morning. Line of 10 people was roughly 15 min wait but the wait after ordering for 2 kids hot chocolates was more than 30 minutes.
This coffee shop is pleasant and clean, but with a 2-hour limit on WiFi access it is impossible for remote work. Perfect for a quick stop, not for multi-hour work.
They have Nice location with Capitol and amzing service too.! 100%recommend
The food was really good when we finally went up and asked about it...it would have been amazing if they'd remembered to serve it...no apology from the staff either. My first visit, so not impressed. Edit: The management reached out to me through Square, Inc and apologized for the oversight. They also offered to refund my friend for her lunch. Being this responsive gives me hope, and I feel like I can give them full stars now.
This is one of the best coffee shops I've been to, compared to both my home city and the one's I've visited traveling. Their baristas are super friendly, the coffee is delicious, and I just love the atmosphere and outside seating with the view of the state capitol building. The coffee was so good that I've had to order several bags in the months since I last visited. The bags are roasted to order and shipped out fresh with a fast delivery time. I currently have a bag of Organic Peru San Fernando that got delivered earlier this week and it is making some of the best pour overs I've ever had. I cannot wait to visit Madison again to stop by this cafe.
The coffee is consistently 100 and Erin was delightful, greeting me with joy and energy as soon as I walked in. Keep being the best on the square!
I prefer lighter roast, but the coffee was very good. The honey thyme and goat cheese scone was 10/10
My friend used beans they bought from this shop to make an amazing cup of coffee.
Erin was so sweet, cheerful, and helpful. Wonderful suggestion for the peppermint latte. Great, bright place to be!
I don't really like coffee, but the free sparkling water is excellent.
One of the few places in Madison that sells an espresso tonic and it's fantastic!
Delicious food with a very modern vibe and a great view of the capital. Staff were friendly, even though they were absolutely slammed when I went. It's not a full breakfast/brunch spot, mostly just sandwiches, but they have a rotating menu with really interesting options. Definitely worth checking out!
Another good coffee shop to add to Madison’s coffee resume. Good seating with views of the capitol.
Coffee was good the harissa dish was so so, on weekend, busy all occupied by students who seem to think it is ok to hog up two seats as I watched old folks walk around looking for a seat.
im in a state of wonder every time i go here! such a beautiful setting & reliably good coffee & food!
Great coffee. Great food. Great service! Would highly recommend. Love the cold brew.
Vanilla Bean Latte was fabulous! Adorable vibes inside.
