Great coffee & food. Friendly service

This is my new favorite spot for coffee on the east side! I got the sunrise breakfast sandwich on a croissant and it was easily the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in Madison. I also got an oat milk mocha, which was phenomenal. My husband was really impressed with his order as well. You can tell someone put a lot of care and thought into each item to make it high quality and work together well. The staff was super friendly and helpful to boot. Already looking forward to going back!

Coffee was great. Lattee with oat milk and honey. Good stuff. Ambience was alright, but highlighted with a kid friendly area. Nice touch!
A great local coffee shop near on the east side of Madison. I had the egg salad sandwich and it was amazing. The latte was also delish.
The shop provided coffee and lunch for a workshop we ran over the weekend, coming in early and even opening on Sunday to take care of us. Fantastic customer service, beautiful location, and great food and coffee! A treasure of a coffee shop!

Great place to have a coffee or breakfast with friends and family. Place is recently renovated, fresh coat of paint, updated cabinet colors and few interior setup changes. Coffee is great. New owner is your barista and she's great at what she does. Sandwiches and burritos are also very good.
Such a cute coffee shop with great coffee and amazing pastries! You can't go wrong with the almond croissant.
Mercies Coffee has a beautiful, chic atmosphere! Honestly love their layout and setup! I absolutely love the location and the incredible staff. Very welcoming and willing to help you come to a choice. They have unique delicious flavors for iced and hot drinks. I'm absolutely going back.

Spent the better half of 4 hours here. Hubby could work, take calls work on the computer, I could research on computer. Great food, good coffee, great service. We had coffee, matcha tea, and then lunch later. Hubby had chipotle turkey sandwich on sourdough. I had egg salad on a salad- very tasty!!!
A friend recently recommended Mercies to us and it’s been a wonderful find. The coffee is excellent, the espresso drinks are perfectly mixed every time, the staff is kind and pleasant, and both Hubby and I enjoy the food. I’m used to getting things to go when we order coffee from somewhere, but this is one place I’m comfortable lingering in as we drink our coffees and eat our breakfasts. It’s a comfortable space with a fireplace, a patio and comfortable seating. It's nice being in there. Mercies is definitely a little gem of a cafe near East Towne that we’lll love visiting often.
My life group meets here frequently. We all enjoy a variety of their beverages & food. Great fresh & tasty ingredients. The back room can be reserved for groups by emailing Mercies.

Mercies consistently makes the best espresso drinks! Love the variety of delicious food items they offer as well. The atmosphere is relaxing with a modern vibe. And their staff is so friendly & helpful - which unfortunately I can’t say about every coffee shop.
