Dessert options are better than at Ancora.

Super nice workers. Good place to work at. The drinks? Wayyy too sweet. Both my girlfriend and I were overwhelmed at how sweet the lattes were. Especially when we got a scone, which was also made pretty distasteful with the drinks. The food was just alright. I live in Milwaukee and have been hard pressed to try this bigger company, but decided to in Madison oddly. You may be better off going to a local spot in town.

Great for quick coffee and snacks, but does not have WiFi that is strong enough for consistent remote work.

Always a delicious breakfast. The bacon egg and cheese croissant paired with a salted caramel latte was perfect. Bought a bag of the Snowy Day for home. Highly recommend stopping here on a nice cold winter day.

I’ve been a customer here for years now. Colectivo made my favorite turkey sandwich in town. Sadly, on my most recent visit, I learned that they changed the bacon they use to a lower quality, thinner pre-made type. I also no longer saw a sign they used to display about the local butchers they would partner with for high quality meats. It’s really exhausting and disappointing to continue seeing so many businesses lower the quality of their products or services while keeping prices the same or even raising them. I hope Colectivo doesn’t head further in this direction, because at some point I will no longer be able to justify a lower quality item for the price of eating out and expecting better quality than what I can make at home. Also - they don’t recycle.

Fan since Alterra - but this is sad. Non-hyperbolically the worst breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Muffin was rock hard and cheese was wax-like. They need to change this up ASAP. Reminds me of government-issued elementary school lunch. I love everything else about Colectivo and their locations.

Awful service , forgot about my order and the person in front of me. Made both drinks wrong and then puts way too much sweetener in it . Waste of $10 , I will not be going back or suggesting this place

I have been here a few times and love it. I got a sugar free hazelnut latte with oat milk and it was so good. The pastries are delicious too!

All of Colectivo’s Madison shops are great, but in warmer months when the front room’s windows are open, this is my favorite. Iced lattes and smoothies are a go-to for sitting along the storefront and watching the hustle and bustle of the capital square.

Coffee is solid. Great place to have some coffee and have your own space. Get the pour over. It's just more consistent, it's worth the extra 30 cents or whatever it is.

Colectivo is a cute little coffee shop right on the edge of the Wisconsin state capitol, providing a variety of reasonably priced drinks and snacks in a friendly atmosphere. The staff were kind and polite, and we enjoyed the view of the capitol, sitting in the cool of the shop with our drinks. 😋

The only thing to grab a bite to eat on the square in Madison is coffee shops - expensive coffee and breakfast sandwiches that were not very good to eat and nothing within walking distance to eat. Nice view of the lake and the Capital building.

Good selections, some unique. Nice space, including large front patio. Also, an unusual "front sun-porch" space that can be open air, but separated from main business by glass doors. When windows are open, this porch area feels like an indoor extension of the patio. Direct view of Capitol Building, too.

A nice coffee shop with a nice laid back atmosphere. But my opinion took a nosedive this morning. I made the mistake of ordering the OVERPRICED "Famous Chorizo" breakfast burrito. $7 for something the same size as a small microwave burrito. In a paper bag with 1 napkin. It was falling apart and the insides appeared to be either diarrhea or vomit. I was instantly both disgusted and offended so I got up and walked out.

Provides more variety with a rotating blend coffees and teas beyond the standard menu options if you're looking to try something new. Excellent sandwiches and a nice outdoor seating area when the harsh mistress of WI weather allows.

I've had coffee and a breakfast bagel or muffin here more than once. It's a very comfy place and wide open. Great place!

Fun atmosphere, but do not go here to get work completed. There's a reason why it's completely empty during the week, because the music is way too loud to focus on completing a task.
