Easily the best Colectivo in Madison. Though the menus are uniform across the other locations, this location makes the best tasting sandwiches, and the location/garage door in summer can't be beat.
Great food and coffee. Such a cool coffee shop.
Great little neighborhood coffee shop. Parking is limited so be prepared for a short walk.
Cinnamon roll was very dry coffee was okay service was good.
Great coffee shop with vibrant and friendly atmosphere. Strong coffee taste and nice cappuccinos, flat whites.
This place is very quaint, cute and cozy. Stopped here after a shopping day and had a caramel steamer and a cardamom latte. Both of which were very good!
I had a French Roast lighter coffee. Was rather strong by my tastes, & I've been told I prefer stronger than average cup of coffee. The dark roast was Burundi, an African blended variety, quite strong I was told by manager, who served me & took my order at the cashier station. I had a Roasted Chicken Chipotle Sandwich: All-natural free-range chicken, coleslaw, pickles & chipotle mayo on sesame semolina 555 cal $8.00 It was absolutely delicious, perfect balance of spice, sweet red cabbage and mildly flavored pickles. Mayonnaise was perfect amount for flavor, moist texture, without sloppy & falling apart condition. It all held together perfectly, & lightly toasted bread was perfect finish to superlative presentation. Atmosphere was warm, sunny, & welcoming. Very busy when we went, that's sure sign it's got great food & beverages. Service was prompt enough & order was ready/called out to me at our table in less than 5 minutes. All completely within range for good service & great food/coffee. I gave 25% tip for excellent service & quality menu items. Fresh, tasty & balanced sandwich menu made mandatory that I give 5 stars of 5 for overall rating. My friend enjoyed his pastry & coffee, & we stayed several hrs chatting, as usual for our exchanges. Nobody was hurrying us out of the place, even though rather busy. Very inviting atmosphere & I'd highly recommend to anyone for quality of menu & atmosphere, airy and bright. Will return in future & try other menu items.
Honestly a cozy coffee shop. Great vibe and great atmosphere. But where I loose interest is the coffee. I went in today and ordered a Vanilla iced latte with oat milk. Visually the drink looks good. But taste wise I'm very disappointed. The espresso shot is really bitter and overall poor. And the oat milk doesn't really taste like oat milk to be honest. I honestly don't know if I'll come back, Maybe to try the food.
Cold brew Oatchata is so yummy but so overpriced tables are good for playing solitaire w your friend
Oat milk cardamom honey latte= yum
If you have half a day to wait for your food, head here. Took 35 minutes for a simple egg and cheese muffin only to have the muffin tougher than a piece of leather. This experience leaves a lot of work for this location. Some experienced operations leaders would be a good first step.
It was busy and packed, but tbe drinks were being served quickly and efficiently. Keep it up!
Very pleasant atmosphere to have a cup of coffee and read.
GET THE BLUEBERRY MUFFIN. IT IS SO GOOD 👍👍👍👍👍🥐🥐🥐🥐🥐 .... or the chocolate croissants
Vegan options! The impossible burrito was awesome. It's been a while since I've had a great Vegan breakfast.
A cozy coffee shop, nice to hangout with friends or a second office for working at home persons. This is a great place for me to be a long-term customer. Espresso quality is normally very good (look at my pictures 😉)
This is a case where I wish Google had half stars. It's really 3.5 for me. Great location, and they've done a great job with the space. The staff is very hit or miss. The front of the house staff frequently seem to be hired because they have the right look, but their customer service skills are pretty lacking. We have to repeat or correct our order with them more often than not. There are several coffee shops on the near west side, we've been to most of them, this place is reliably the slowest. The food is good, but the kitchen is totally out of sync with the coffee; your food will be delivered up to fifteen minutes before your coffee is ready. Edit: Went back today for the first time in a while and things have inverted. Got my coffee right away, and waited over 20 minutes for someone in the kitchen to toast a bagel and put some smoked salmon and onions on it. The place was mostly empty, so the only reason I can think of for the delay is that the kitchen staff was simply letting my order sit while they did other things. Another Edit: Went back today with my 12 year old at their request. They have solved the issue of the coffee and the kitchen being out of synch. But not much else. We waited in line for close to fifteen minutes while the person in front of us ordered beans and the woman at the register stared at the register pad in confusion slowly hunting and pecking. I'm assuming she was new and it wasn't her fault. Just as the ensuing line got to the door someone came out of the kitchen and took over the other register. This was at slightly after noon on a weekday. Not much of a lunch rush in the place, but if the normal wait at the lunch hour is fifteen minutes to get through the line it's understandable that people aren't lining up to get in. What's not understandable is how the run of the mill coffee, overpriced and undersized menu offerings, and marginal customer service has kept this place open for so long.
Edit: Not sure when it happened but was disappointed to find there is no longer a traditional double shot 8oz cappuccino offering. Unfortunately it feels more like a Starbucks now. Still better choice in the area but motivates me to travel downtown. Expect at a decent wait. Original: Not really my favorite espresso, but definitely my favorite espresso without traveling downtown. Haven't tried it pre-COVID, but looked like a good gathering spot. Friendly staff, good pastries, but definitely pretty slow going when I was there last month. Still, if you're not in a rush, well worth it. Plus, it's a real cappuccino, not a latte.
I had stopped coming here for awhile because they were not providing the option of getting coffee in for here cups. I was so excited that policy had changed but was really disappointed today when my coffee and food came in a disposable cup and paper bag despite having asked for the non-disposable option. I really love Colectivo but can’t support these practices and all the waste that is produced as a result.
Fun place for a coffee. Cappuccinos we're good as were a few bakery items. Going back for sure.
