The best selection of rare houseplants in Wisconsin! They also have a fantastic selection of carnivorous plants, succulents, and everything in between.

Kayla was really helpful over the phone. She provided precise details on exactly what I was looking for, and I was calling from out of town for my cousin! I’ll have to check them out if I’m ever there. TYSM

Loved this place! So many options and unique finds! Any houseplant collector would find some rare plants here. Was beautiful and well kept up. Prices were maybe a little on the higher end, but so is the quality of their plants.

Down to Earth is a great greenhouse with a ton of variety. I have also participated in a few class and have enjoyed them a lot! Highly recommended!

This is a nursery with a lot to offer. They have a really unique selection. There's mature specimen priced appropriately that might seem high to those not familiar with the plant trade. They offer immature specimen for a lesser price point. There are bargain bins as well. The staff seems knowledgeable and helpful. I appreciate that they have a terrarium and some mounted epiphytes to show people examples outside the pot. The tillandsia selection is top notch. It is worth a visit.

The most expansive collection of houseplants, regular and collector, in the Midwest! Unmatchable!

We returned a product that did not work for us. We were told that because it was open, that you only get 50% of the price back. I have never heard of that when returning products that don't work. They told us to buy this for the problem we were having. The person helping us with the return could not show us anywhere about proof of this return policy. He also said basically "I use this product myself, so it works". We will be shopping other places from now on for our garden needs.

Amazing selection of houseplants, best in the area!! The prices reflect this, however. If you dont mind paying a little more and know what you're looking for, you can find some amazing specimens here.

Absolutely love this place! Beautiful plants, hands down the neatest greenhouse I have ever stepped foot in. The staff is amazing, and so many different workshops to attend. Definitely a plant lover’s paradise 💜 Thank you Down to Earth for being an all encompassing greenhouse!!

It was over the top!!! They have the cutest little spot to sit and enjoy your coffee and breakfast sandwich! Plus who doesn't love coffee and plants? The staff is super helpful with any questions we had about certain plants. The shop next door has the cutest local foods and treasures.

At this time of year, with all of the green houses closed, you have the chance to escape the winter and stroll through a store that feels like the tropics. House plants, ferns, a wide variety of tropical plants brings a sense of calm and peace. If you are looking for a relaxing vibe for coffee and treats with a friend, stroll to the next building and enjoy a pleasant conversation.

This place is my #1 favorite greenhouse! They have so many unique plants and the staff is always friendly and SO KNOWLEDGEABLE! Some of the coolest plants I’ve ever purchased were from this place (including my Florida ghost, which is my long favorite plant). I HIGHLY recommend checking it out if you’re anywhere near Eau Claire and like plants (especially rare houseplants/ tropicals). Thx for being a heckin neat place✨🪴🖤

Heaven on earth! An employee at another garden center recommended that I check out Down To Earth...holy cow! The rare plant selection is second to none. I left with several additions to my collection and look forward to my next visit.

Down To Earth is a nice place, but when it comes to customer service and communication, they do a poor job. I just purchased 2 trees from them and I was not happy with the planting and or the delivery. Had one of the two trees die, they accused me of not taking care of the tree properly when clearly I was due to the other staying alive. I hope this helps some of you out, just not happy with them and probably won't go back.

We love Down To Earth! They've done our landscaping on two separate new home builds now and both times turned out great. Excellent plant quality and selection, customer service and execution. We also have purchased house plants and vegetables over the years and have always had a top-notch experience buying from DTE. The cafe is great too – nice spot to grab a bite to eat.
