Small menu, eclectic place downtown EC
Service has gotten slower- line and food wait both.
New to the area, trying out all of what EC has to offer based on suggestions from locals. This has been my favorite coffee spot so far. My brew was delicious and the toddler was content with his cookie. Aesthetically pleasing ,lovely staff.
The worse coffee. . . I ordered a cafe mocha...taste like the chocolate was moldy and had a burnt taste...save your money and go to Starbucks... . Sandwiches are so-so. I mean, this is 2021, who puts sprouts on sandwiches anymore. That's a 1960s thing. I live in San Francisco, and nowhere they put sprouts on a sandwich. Not the best service, the counter people remind me of wanna be hippies. . . They need to work on customer service. The soup I had was very good. There are better options in the downtown to spend money with better food and good service.
A couple buddies of mine and I took a trip down here to relax. A family friend suggested that we go here, saying their Hoagies were very good. We came around 11:45 on a Sunday. It was busy, but the atmosphere was very nice. Felt open and was pleasing to the eye. When we came to the counter, the cashier was very friendly, and we chatted for a bit. We ordered three 6 in. Hoagies, nachos and a couple drinks. Drinks came out fine, and they were pretty good, but nothing to be ecstatic about. And even though it was busy, we waited longer than expected for our food with the waitress forgetting our orders. Seemed a bit flustered, but that's nothing against them. The food did not meet our expectations. When we got our hoagies, they came out barely warm, and just looked like a sandwich you might put together in 1 minute. My buddy received his nachos a short time after, and they looked terrible. It looked like a bag of shredded cheese was put over some chips and then microwaved. We could pick up a chip and the whole thing would come up with it. He did not finish them and genuinely upset him. I might recommend someone to come and try this place because maybe we caught them on a bad day, but the experience was not the best.
The 1/2 hoagie is small and unfilling. The hot chocolate was simple syrup in a lukewarm cup. The nachos were just chips covered in shredded cheese and microwaved.
Really enjoyed the corned beef hoagie.
The sandwiches are so good. The soups are amazing and you will love the cookies. Highly recommend.

Get the turkey hoagie with everything on it. Trust me, you will want more.
Always come here when I'm in town. If you like Jersey Mike's, you'll love their hot hoagies. Super friendly service and a great place to sit and eat. Very cheap prices for a perfect amount of food. I always just get the 1/3 size, and it always fills me up.
Cute spot, very crowded. Service was very slow, 40 minutes to get our sandwiches after standing in a long line to order. Sandwiches (tuna and roast beef) were delicious but we didn't get our chips. Peach smoothie did not taste like peach, just sweet.
Very excellent cafe/restaurant. The atmosphere is great! The food is phenomenal! Their ice cream is very high quality! If your thinking of checking out, it is a must, just the food alone, you won't be disappointed.
This place hasn't changed a bit, and that's what makes it great. Same atmosphere and same great food. All the workers are so friendly and personable. I'm glad I made the stop last time I was in town.
Never had a soup or sandwich here I didn't like, and I love the atmosphere.
The Acoustic Cafe is a great place to casually gather or grab a bite to eat at any time of day. They have a ton of seating options for individuals or groups, and the atmosphere is super laid back. All of these great characteristics are amplified when they have live artists playing. Highly recommended for breakfast, lunch or a late night snack!
