Enjoyed a respite in Eau Claire at this nice wine, cocktail, coffee bar with light bites & boards and an interesting selection of wines. As a spoiled Cabernet aficionado, I was delighted to try a Chardonnay that I had never had the pleasure of tasting. Love expanding the wine palate and this lovely place was inviting and loved the ambiance and service here. Give it a visit if you are in the area.
If you are wanting craft cocktails and a relaxed sophisticated atmosphere. Then this place is an absolute must go to!!! They have a large selection of liquors, wines and hand made cocktails. If you are needing a bite to eat as well then you will have the perfect selection of handmade charcuterie boards, snacks, soft pretzels and select sandwiches. Definitely will be coming here again!!!
Classy place. They should get some laminated menus, the paper ones are tacky. Lots of different drinks to choose from. Wine is higher end. They do offer domestic beers and some small bites to eat. The wait staff is very attentive.
Helix is an amazing bar run by amazing people. The staff are very friendly and are always helpful. I will be coming here more frequently.
A beautiful setting, both the inside ambiance and with big window views of the park. Friendly service and an interesting selection of wines and other beverages, including a few non-alcoholic cocktails.
Great place for lounging and sipping on craft Cocktails.
Not impressed with the secondary service and assuming drink makers. Ordered a on tap red and a Americano with balieys. The wine was gimmicky/ overrated for a $14 glass. Got charged $2 more for balieys because the bartender put a 1/2 oz. more balieys in it. There was no way I could tell.when we got the bill I brought it up to our server, who was great. Then we got confronted by the bartender who very loudly explained that she added more without instructions. Her handling of the situation was horrible. We paid for her mistakes and left. Nice to try once. The management practices of precision drinks are petty when you are already over paying for drinks.
10/10. Fig goat cheese app, turkey sandwich, olive tray, meat charcuterie board, and those cookies 😍.... the wine recommendations based on our favorites was spot on. ( Thank you Lisa!) We had so much fun. So good that we bought a half a case based on their suggestions. Pricing on wines is better than Woodman's. Our new wine destination. Thank you Helix! ❤️❤️❤️

Unique cocktail menu and a retro, romantic atmosphere. Kind of a lounge setting. Highly recommend this wine bar- a must see if you’re visiting Eau Claire!
Wow & Wow new place in River Prairie for great cocktails, wine, & craft beers! Beautiful interior with floor to ceiling windows. Outside decks will be great this spring! Desert menu looks inviting & not for dieters😄 Only negative was sidewalk could have been shoveled better with recent snow! Will return ..
Great concept, beautiful place, but just walked out after waiting 40 min. for our drinks. Yikes! Maybe you need more than one bartender on a Saturday. Work out the bugs and we will be back.
Tried this place out last night and loved it!! Great drinks and atmosphere. Staff were friendly and attentive. I recommend their penicillin cocktail! I’ll definitely come back when I’m in the area again.
Unfortunately went at the wrong time, when they were short a waiter. We waited 30 minutes and ordered a drink from the bar, Delicious drink! (Ox mule). We then waited another 40 to figure out if we had a waiter or just go to the bar. When we went to tab out we expressed our concern about sitting at a 2 top with zero service for over an hour and the owner apologized and paid for our drinks. Definitely will give them a second chance in the near future, just unfortunate our first experience was not great. With that said the mixologist was phenomenal, he got our order in and personally served them to our table.
This place was beautiful, comfortable and inviting! I loved each wine that I tasted and I am excited to go back and try a cocktail or beer too! The food was amazing as well, fantastic cheese board. I can't wait to go back!
As soon as you walk in, you can tell the owners carefully curated everything in the space. Even the bar stools were beautiful and actually comfortable! We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and bartender was very attentive and had excellent recommendation on drinks based on what I said was my "usual". The soft pretzel with mustard was delicious and the olive selection was excellent. My husband and I will definitely be back soon!
Helix is a delightful new spot with top notch wines, delightful nibbly bits, and service than can't be beat! This is a must stop spot, you won't be disappointed. The owners will help the wine novice navigate their way to the perfect wine, and for the connoisseurr they will help find a new favorite you didn't even know you loved. This is our new favorite spot, we'll meet you here soon!
This is what we needed in the area! Someplace where you can enjoy a simple drink, or have a complex cocktail. The wine and whiskey selection is not too bad. I look forward to frequenting this joint and seeing the offerings change throughout the year.
Love this place! Came today with a friend and the owners made us feel nothing but welcome! Will definitely come back!
The entire place was beautiful! The service was great and the owners were present and making sure everyone was having a wonderful time. There is plenty of seating options and is a fantastic place to unwind relax and have a bit of fun.
