Best for takeout or limited seating.
First time was today, and it was great price for home-cooked meals, nice portions. We had the salmon croquet dinner and the baked steak dinner. Mac and cheese is award winning locally, was some of the best ever. Sampled their ham salad and also the bologna salad, got a ham salad, try some. Dessert we got a cherry cheesecake and a pineapple cheesecake, both very delicious. Friendly staff, met the owner also. Thank you, we enjoyed it. Next time I want to be there for meatloaf day!
Absolutely amazing cheese burgers, I didn't even mind not having fries!!! If you want no frills home cooked food, this is it!
Has best home cooked food
This place has great food good service and would be one of the top places in Charleston to eat if it had more than two tables But if you're wanting something good for carry out or delivery you can't go wrong

Very good food! First time trying this res and was very impressed ! Mac n cheese is killer, steak cooked great, everything fresh and delivered hot and well packaged! They even take the time to wrap the contai to avoid spills an help with insulation. Will be visiting soon

Nice folks. Meatloaf par excellence. I hear the chicken and dumplings is better. Definitely going to find out.
Absolutely Phenomenal! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The steak, ribs, salmon patties (not fishy), banana split pudding, the mac & cheese, fresh vegetables... it's all delicious. Got a plate for my mom & brother yesterday, they called asking for the number to order again today, they were reading my mind 😋

This place had a charming interior. Very small, most customers take away. If you are lucky enough yo get a seat, you'll enjoy the company. Quality ingredients and menu options. Locally owned and operated.
Best homemade food at fast food service.
The food is delicious. I had a portion size issue before but they have corrected it and it's very nice! Very good people. They are nice n polite.
I'm coming back again again and again. Just found this place I been missing out I ain't eating no where else in the vally for a while. That food I'm telling ya go get you some.
Excellent food! Best country cooking I have found here. Everything scratch made with quality ingredients, and perfectly cooked and seasoned! Painfully full right now! Lol!
True home cooking. Not much seating, but the owner and staff will do everything that they can to make you feel welcome.

We stopped in for lunch the other day to try the new Chicago style Italian Beef sandwich and we were just blown away! When I was young I used to travel to Chicago with my Dad and couldn't wait to get one these sandwiches. Through the years I've always looked for this sandwich here in WV but as always my efforts were futile. I can't believe how you guys have made this sandwich "Chicago Style" so well! Although it may look simple it is a very difficult sandwich to master believe me I've tried many times and have failed repeatedly. No other restaurant in WV stepped up to the plate in this regard. Thanks Corner Kitchen!
We stopped in to get some of the award winning Mac and cheese, and it did NOT disappoint! It was delicious. As a matter of fact, everything we got was delicious and so reasonably priced.
