We visited for an early breakfast on a holiday weekend. The service takes time—prepare to wait—but the food is worth the wait. High quality ingredients with an inventive menu. The quiche is served softly custard-like (as it should be) so if you’re used to super market quiche this is not the item for you. My meal partners enjoyed a nicely seasoned everything bagel sandwich, and the biscuits and gravy. The deceptively smaller portions belie the fact that the food is rich and tasty; you feel quite satisfied at the end. I ordered a cappuccino, which was not my favorite (bitter and not quite as creamy as expected) but don’t let that deter you from trying this place. The selection of board games was a fun addition!

$80 for 5 sandwiches, 2 iced teas and apple juice. And the BLT had one piece of bacon on it. Pretty consistently overpriced for what you get. The gluten free bagels are bomb, though.

Stopped in for a coffee and ended up ordering the Ruben as well. It's really good and would order again...

The coolest coffee shop, what a gem for the community. The coffee and cookies are great, the staff is kind. What really makes it special is the friendly ambiance. A true community center, which is rarer and rarer these days. From the local art to the crosswords to the National Geographic copies available to read, everything just says “welcome”.

Great drinks and food! The biscuits and gravy were some of the best I’ve tried. I liked the jellyfish merchandise for sale.

My favorite place to eat since it opened, The Fairfax Coffee Shop routinely gets good reviews for food, drinks, & service, even while displaying its owners' beliefs in fair wages, equality, and tolerance. But to get back to the food: by far the best bagels this side of Baltimore & DC, & they're homemade by the owner. Ditto for the muffins & pastries. My wife & I highly recommend!

This is a super friendly place. Food and coffee were excellent. If I lived in town this would be my hang out.

Incredible French Onion quiche that is gluten free with a hash brown crust!!! It’s a satisfying portion. Also recommend the Chai latte. Tery is very welcoming and helpful with questions!

Over priced tourist trap. Berkeley Springs is known for its spring water. But, at this place they won’t give you a glass of water. Instead they want to charge you $3.18 for a bottle of filtered water! We got a grilled cheese for $10 and it was meh. The $14 steak sandwich was so tough the whole steak would come out when you tried to bite into it. To cap it off, there was no toilet paper except for this bloody roll seen in the pictures. I wouldn’t send someone I dislike here.

Had a lovely morning at this quaint coffeehouse. The avocado toast was flavorful but wiuld have enjoyed a runny yolk instead of a hard one but that is personal preference. My partner had the biscuits and gravy and really loved them. The biscuit was homemade and crispy on yhe outside and creamy in the center. Lota of cool artwork on the walls, for sale. LGBTQ+ allies. Just moved to town a few months ago and will definitely be regulars

What a cute coffee shop, clean and welcoming. Everything we ordered was delicious and I was over the moon at the fact they offered vegan and gluten free options on the pastries. My daughter has a milk allergy and it’s not very often she is able to eat pastries or cakes. She LOVED the brownie she ordered. She’s still talking about it a week later. I would highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone. The atmosphere was very welcoming, staff friendly and the entire place was so clean and tidy. Wonderful experience

Such a cute and friendly coffee shop with vibes that make you want to spend the day here reading books and solving puzzles. Pastries are delicious and the breakfast menu is divine. Highly recommend if you’re stopping by the beautiful town of Berkeley Springs.

I love this coffee house for all seasons and reasons! A constellation of stars surrounds the *hospitality* that defines this lovely spot in Berkeley Springs. The staff is super friendly and their service is top notch. Go for the excellent cappucino and other warm beverages served at this welcoming cozy winter respite. In the summertime take your lunch (avocado toast is a favorite :) across the street into the park, sit at a picnic table and watch the water drift by. A real treat after a spa visit!

We always stop at the Fairfax because of the policies but especially because of the food. Their food is unequalled anywhere. It is a must go place.

We started visiting Berkeley Springs in 2017. Our visit was not complete unless we hit Fairfax! First, let's talk about the coffee... they could school Starbucks on this. The Caramel Latte is just crazy fantastic! That's my favorite ;) the biscuits and brownies, also fantastic, went home with us. Last...the vegetarian chili, just so good! If you are visiting this place is a must try!
