Was a bit nervous to try because of all the negative reviews, but glad I did. First off, everyone in the cafe was super polite to us from the lady at the front taking orders to the people behind the counter cooking. I found the food delicious. The crepe was very light and delicate, the eggs fluffy, and the bacon was perfectly cooked. Amazing rolls. Also the coffee was an exquisite cup of coffee. The latte was amazing and perfect. I found the food portion perfectly filling and it did not make me uncomfortably full. I encourage people to come in and try. They make their food with locally sourced goods and are delightful people to talk to. Also for people who have gluten intolerance they can make GF crepes. Delicious artisan breakfast.

We ordered peppermint mochas and a gluten free caramel apple crepe, and both of them were INCREDIBLE. The service was fantastic, it's an adorable little place to grab a bite. I'd highly recommend stopping here if you're in Winthrop, it's a can't-miss place!

This is a fantastic stop for breakfast. My family enjoyed a bit of everything. The barnyard sandwich was a fun start to a cold day. However they get their pastry to do what it does to my mouth is beyond me.

At first glance this nice little space seemed cozy and special, we quickly found the service remarkably bland and disinterested creating a dull strange atmosphere in such a tiny place We ordered the cheese sandwich and the Bohemian ( they were out of the steak and blue ) and quite some time later two very small sandwiches were plunked down in front of us, one wrapped in foil the other on a plate wrapped in foil. They were pretty good but seriously overpriced. A smile combined with decent presentation goes a long way. Maybe this is a better spot for breakfast than lunch ? The two espresso machines appear to be small home versions - thi s may account for some of the less positive reviews about their espresso drinks. Home machines tend to make strong coffee , not authentic espresso with rich cream.

If you want to risk getting terrible customer service and discrimination then go here. I ordered a chai tea and she told me to wait outside and 20 minutes later never made it for me. I went back inside with no line and she told me she forgot and didn't apologize. So I sat outside waiting for my drink and she comes out to tell me not to stay too long so other customers can use their table. She was clearly nice to other customers that were seated and of course I noticed that those customers look like her in terms of race except the difference is my skintone. My advice for this business is to ensure they themselves and their employees treat everyone with respect and treat others how they would like to be treated. This is a tourist town--you're going to be serving people from many different backgrounds.

We asked what type of rolls they had and she snapped at us and said it's our sandwich bread. We asked again and she irritably repeated her answer. Then I asked if a cookie was molasses. And she quickly answered chocolate. I tried to order a special request drink and she snapped at me that that's an americano. I tired to explain the coffee I wanted and she scratched out my order and wrote americano. When she brought me my drink it wasn't what I ordered. But she argued that that was what I ordered.

Take out with no indoor seating but a little shaded deck area out back. The healthiest, tastiest food. Chicken curry salad was delicious and my girl ordered the house salad, which she gave a thumbs up. Friendly staff and a very clean prep area. They sell baked goods also. Would 100% eat there again.

I had seen a lot of reviews suggesting this was a great breakfast place - I would say more of a light meal or treat. Their pastries looked pretty decadent, but they really only had a slice of quiche which I would say counted as breakfast, or maybe their berry crepes from the dessert menu? My husband enjoyed a sandwich and I wish we had known in advance that they had so many treats rather than as a main fare kind of place. Everything we had was tasty - more accurate online info would have been great!

Incredibly rude staff. Cookie was ok but not worth it in the end. Worst service I've ever had in the valley.

Not very friendly woman taking orders. Americano was super weak. We went back in to ask about our drinks and we're assured they were made correctly.. but not offered to fix at all. Whip cream on a kids hot chocolate is an easy one to fix.. Won't come back.

I absolutely loved everything about this place. I went out on a limb and got an open-faced bohemian sandwich and it was SO GOOD! Yeah there was a 20 minute wait, but what good restaurant doesn’t have a wait? It was just the right amount of time to explore the near by stores anyway.

Outstanding. The French sandwich is my new favorite sandwich of the Methow Valley. Chicken, bacon, egg, greens, amazing bread. Phenomenal. The meringue was also out of this world. This is truly a local gem, so supplies and hours can be limited. Don't miss this if you are hungry for lunch in the Methow Valley.

We came in to order lunch and few sweets . Both man and women who helped us were friendly and polite. Menus are on the door outside and inside. Yes, menu items has long descriptions but when food was brought-to us outstanding it was Amazing! I went inside again and ordered more to take to hotel for later . Tomorrow I will be back for 9 am breakfast. From my understanding it’s local family farm restaurant! Thank you for your delicious and fresh food !
