Great tasting freshly baked strawberry rhubarb scone was a perfect late morning snack. Nice cozy bakery near the center of Winthrop with friendly and caring owner and staff.
I was shocked that my bill totalled $44 for three items. But, the quality of the ingredients and the exceptional flavours made it worth every penny! The $32 “Ready to Bake Southwest Pot Pie” is worth the splurge! The vegetables and sausage pieces were rough cut, giving perfection to texture and the flavours were perfectly blended - out of this world! The $6 Vegetable Quiche was still fresh from the oven, moist and bursting with flavour! The $3 Drip Coffee did not disappoint! Do it! You won’t regret it!
Cute tiny shoppe with a nice spread of pastries that make you think "wow, is this Winthrop?" But after I tipped with my purchase and the young lady they told me they don't have anything but sugar and half and half plus they took 10 minutes to find a lid for my cold brew and poured it into 3 different glasses to accomplish that, I realized once again how true the old addage is to not judge a book by its cover or its introduction. Did not expect a fancy coffee shop with 300 combinations but did at least expect the basics and this one missed that low standard.
We were camping at Lake Pearrygin for my birthday, and we ordered a beautiful cake as well as a dozen of their muffins. Order process was easy, and most importantly, everything was so delicious! We’ll be back to grab more goodies on our next trip to Winthrop.
One word: MACARONS! A few more words: really delicious all around. Lovely people and great food—also cute stickers! So good and easy to stop by— Honestly becomes a bit of a problem that it’s on the way home from… the grocery store, daycare, the library 😂
Dry breakfast sandwich sitting for some time. But only open place for breakfast so no choice.
Just drip coffee, no expresso. Their quiche is pretty good tho. My friends walked in and then right out. If you want strong coffee there is two other places to go to rocking horse bakery or sheri’s sweet shop.
06/20/22 Stopped here looking for something to eat after finding most places closed at the time we were looking. We'll definitely be back. Wife got a piece of quiche she liked. I got a pastrami sandwich, which was one of the best deli-style pastrami's I've had: really good meat, and surprisingly good "white" [French?] bread. Staff were very nice. Took one star off because their drink selection was "very" limited. Still, would return for their deli food.
Great hours for Winthrop. Excellent take out for a day trip or hike or to reheat for dinner if you have a kitchen.
Delicious pastries and a charming and helpful assistant who went out of his way to help my friend. I had a yummy mango and peach scone with a good crunch and my friend had a blueberry-raspberry bar which she loved. It would be perfect if they offered lattes too.
Where ever I am I go out of my way to track down the best cookies in the area. Little Dipper's walnut chocolate chip cookies are right up there with the best I have ever had!
so grateful this little place opened and am just so thrilled to have a consistently reliable local business in this little town. thank you!
The only thing better than a Nutella filled cookie is one just out of the oven. I got mine at 9:30 on a Saturday:) Perfection!!!
Coffee and cinnamon roll were amazing!
A very pleasant surprise. Excellent quiche, with a delicious light crust and possibly the best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had. The gravy wasn’t the heavy white source you often get and full of flavor from the ingredients Very friendly service as well
What a treat, Little Dipper opens early. So far have loved the muffins and scones, looking forward to trying more variations. Delicious baked goods and good covid procedures.
Unique and delicious food. Warm and friendly staff. I will be back!
Great place to get treats and sweets. Chocolate walnut cookie is amazing and doesn't skimp on ingredients. Today I got the seasonal pumpkin cheesecake bar. The crust is made out of ginger molasses cookies and it had the best whip cream topping. They have a Nutella filled cookie that is somehow better than just Nutella and a cookie....something magical happens in the oven I think. There are very cute souvenirs and knick knacks in the bakery and I would have liked to look at them more but I have a newborn and needed to get gone.
Such a treasure! Small space packed with delicious treats and locally owned and operated. Hot lunch of soup was perfect and I’ll be back for the gluten free deserts!!!
Such a lovely little bakery and such happy people working there ! Definitely stop by this little gem if your in Winthrop.
