drip coffee tastes like *ss, but nice place to work
This is the only true coffee place in the area. The drinks are very good, & the service is great. You would never know it's there on the first floor next to the post office, in a cool old building.
This place is a must visit. So dang cute, and has such a great little room to do work in or go on a cutie date. The ladies who served me were precious and wonderful. I got a cardamom latte and split a pizza bagel with my lover. 10/10
Really cool place inside the post office building. Great drinks and food!
Nice cafe in the old courthouse building. Good coffee, friendly staff, and nice seating area out in the main hallway of the courthouse. Only complaint is the fish smell and loud music coming from a nearby restaurant located in the same hallway (En Rama) while they are getting everything ready for opening. I came to get some work done and cannot focus because of the smell and noise.
Fantastic atmosphere, delicious coffee. Great shop, no complaints at all.
Aussies in search of good coffee—best place so far! Matcha was from a latte powder so it was more sweet but still good. :) Service was great! Super friendly and accommodating. And shout out to the lady who served us and accommodated a drink for our kiddo.
Cold brew with cold foam 👍👍👍
Lovely coffee
Great coffee with good amount of seating. Inside a building with a post office and other business.
I appreciate the friendliness of the baristas
Wonderful coffee, friendly service, nice decor…. And they also have Ollypop!! :D
In the past, this was my favorite coffee place in Tacoma, but the quality has seemed to slip during the pandemic. It's still worth a visit though, just for the cool building and, once the pandemic is over, it's a cool place to hang out. And you can go to the post office at the same time!
Its easy to miss but great place for coffee. The barista was very sweet and the coffee was delicious.
Lift Bridge Coffee is my favourite spot to grab a hot tea Jessica runs the joint and always makes my day.
One of my absolute favorite coffee shops with friendly and knowledgeable baristas. I’ve never had to tell any of them how to make a proper macchiato or cortado. And if you’re craving something fancier, they always have unique and tasty coffee drinks to try on their menu board. It’s worth the meter cost!
Great space. Incredible building
I thoroughly enjoyed not only my beverage, but the intentional interaction with the Manager. As someone from out of town, I still felt welcomed even with the limitations brought with COVID. I definitely plan on returning again during my trip.
A small Coffee Shop located at the lobby next to the Post Office and a restaurant in a historic building in Downtown Tacoma. It has lots of space to spread out, you will never feel cramped here. It has free Wifi and fresh cut, real flowers in vases, which is a rarity in Coffee shops. Lift Bridge Coffee has some.really delicious and unique flavored specialty Coffee and Tea drinks, with specialty Syrup made from scratch, in house. Such as Honey-Lavender, Orange Anise, Mint-Pink-Peppercorn... Some of them are seasonal, so try them while they are still in the Menu. My recent favorite, for the 2019-2020 Winter Season, is the Orange Mocha (Latte). Their current Manager (2018 - Feb 2020) is quite creative, besides doing all the Floral Arrangements for the shop, she comes up with these House-made specialty Syrups for specialty Coffee Drinks that are really delicious. Their drip/brewed Coffee is fantastic. It is smooth, velvety, creamy, probably one of the best in the country. Reminds me of some of the great Coffees that I have had over the years, roasted by some reputable boutique Italian brands. Pastries at Lift Bridge Coffee are supplied locally by a business called Spilled Butter Dessert. If they are not already sold out, try one. They are simply divine! Lift Bridge Coffee also has real Ceramic dishware and Silverware, which is a nice touch and more eco-friendly. Staff at Lift Bridge Coffee are very friendly, and service is prompt and efficient. They also have a frequent customer program with rewards. Check with the store for details. Overall it is a good place to unwind, relax and spend time, while also taking advantage of the Post Office next window down and the restaurant down the hallway. Metered street parking spots available relatively easy within the block. From the sidewalk at the Northeast corner of the building, you can see Mount Rainier on clear days. It is quite the big and fabulous view! [ Last updated : Thu Feb 13, 2020 ] NOTE : I have taken one St
Cool locale but not great to stay and get work done.
