WiFi broken and they can’t help. Closed at 2pm and kicked everyone out despite posted hours of 5pm. Great coffee though
The “La Pistola” is delicious. Their cappuccinos got me through my taxes.
Walked in for the first time, was so blown away by the Nitro Draft Oatmilk Latte, I bought a bag of their espresso beans since they also roast at this location.
This is my favorite coffee shop. Their coffee beans are excellently roasted in house and their espresso drinks are delicious as well. The atmosphere is great to hang out with friends, read a book, or get some work done. The employees are incredibly nice and awesome baristas.
Nitro Cold brew is to die for. Homemade. But internet does not work. They blame on Verizon. Get it fixed that’s one of the draws to come here.
WOW! The nitro cold brew is amazing!! Loved it! It puts others to shame. My son had the cortado well served and he loved it as well. I wish I lived closer. This would be a daily event. 😋

Not a great place to work from. I just wanted to spend the morning working remotely at a coffee shop, 15 minutes to get there, 5 minutes to order, 15 minutes troubleshooting my internet on multiple devices to confirm that it was on their end but the staff couldn't be bothered to even look into it. Packed up and drove home where I started but minus almost an hour that I'll have to make up, and $11 dollars for a pastry, coffee and unused refill that tasted a bit bitter at that point. I just wanted a chill place to work and I feel like they are not that anymore.

My new favorite coffee spot when I am on or near 6th! It tastes so fresh and has a deep richness that is hard to find elsewhere.

The place is great! Baristas, drinks, and service are awesome. I didn't try food, so I can't say. Plenty of light. Parking is a little tough and you may have to walk a bit. It seems like a place you can go and chat or work - it bustles. I *did* get nasty stares from a different customer, but that's not the businesses fault ☺️
Greta place over on 6th Ave. The coffee is delicious and the raspberry croissants are my guilty pleasure as well.
A great coffee spot in one of the busier areas of Tacoma, with a strong variety and calm industrial atmosphere to boot.
I recently moved to the area from Northern California which has a deep coffee culture. It was heart warming to find a place that takes its coffee seriously and delivers well made drinks. The cafe is comfortable and encourages conversation. It is my Sunday morning spot.

Bluebeard never fails to impress. The ambiance is perfect for both a quick coffee date or settling in for a hour or so of work. Although they don't have any meal offerings, just a few pastries and light breakfast fare, they are across the street from MSM, the North End's supreme sandwich shop. Beyond the wonderful ambiance, Blue Beard's coffee is fabulous and the baristas are all so friendly! Definitely worth a trip, no matter how long you plan to be there! Updated 10.4.2022: I still adore this coffee shop. I've since moved out of Tacoma, but whenever we are in town we make sure to stop by for a coffee and a bag of beans. One of the hardest parts of leaving the 6th Ave neighborhood was leaving our beloved coffee shop. Thanks for creating such an awesome environment!
