Awesome little coffee place! I got the crème brûlée late and it was delicious! Only thing that prevented me from 5 stars was the disappointment of not being able to try their avocado toast bc their oven was broke.

Pretty good coffee shop but don’t sign up for their rewards, the joe app will keep texting you ads even if you opt out multiple times.

Anthem Coffee Co is a must-visit for coffee lovers visiting the Tacoma Convention center. The coffee is expertly crafted and has a rich, bold flavor. The avocado toast was also delicious that complementeds the coffee perfectly. The view of the water is a nice bonus, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere to enjoy your snack. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area and looking for the best coffee close to the convention center. It truly stands out in terms of quality and flavor.

Their baristas are very good and it's clear that they care about the drinks! It's a beautiful space and there is a lot of seating for patrons. I look forward to returning!

In my opinion the chai tea, and the matcha (the only two drinks I get at coffee shops) are not so great. I’ve had much better. I really appreciate the vibe and friendly service though. It is so nice and cozy plus the baristas are so nice. It’s great for studying but the drinks just aren’t good imo.

Latte was good, but croissant was horrible. Soft, chewy, rubbery and greasy. Nice atmosphere.

Good coffee shop. It’s conveniently located by all the museums in downtown Tacoma. Grabbed a coffee and some pre-packages pastries and all was good.

Not sure about the quality of products. The location seems to be choice. The staff seemed nice. We left as they are apart of the growing movement of not listing prices! We unfortunately need to know if it is $14 dollar coffee or a $5 dollar one and are not willing to go through the imposition of asking the price on each item. I guess it could be a good spot for those with unlimited funds.

No prices on the menu, when I asked for a price list, they could not provide one. ???’!!! In this economic time especially, I find it quite elitist that anthem would expect that prices would be inconsequential to their customers. I refuse to give my business to any establishment that cannot show their prices transparently.

Great little coffee shop. Kind staff and a good flat white. Caramel apple pop tart was a delicious treat.

Oh man really bummed. I get the classic avocado toast all the time and this was really disappointing. Tiny size and not made correctly with the everything bagel sprinkles.

This place is awesome! I saw the name on the window walking by and thought I’d check it out. Brandy was super kind and personable. The entire staff looks happy to be here. And their matcha lattes are yummy!

We are in the area visiting and came here two days in a row. The atmosphere is fabulous and very helpful and nice staff. The Apple fritter latte will be in my dreams it was so perfectly delicious!! The breakfast burrito is filling and very tasty, the pop tart pastry is just enough apple filling and the croissant was buttery heaven. I wish we had this back home!! Do yourself a favor and get here, now!!

Cool coffee shop near my apartment. Great pumpkin latte. Wish it was dog friendly…

The coffee and the food is good but it's the staff that makes feel uncomfortable and unwelcome everytime I go there. Used to be my favorite coffee shop but not anymore. Will not be coming back anytime soon. I don't like the energy in there anymore

Good but pricey. $6.79 for a regular iced coffee.

I got an iced coffee and they filled a cup with ice and then put hot steaming drip coffee over it…??? So now I have water-y slightly cool coffee.

Apparently they don’t like older black men with faces that have eyes. Employee just told my husband to leave because “I don’t like the way your looking at me.” What? Out of a black face? I will never recommend this establishment to anyone.

They are closing this location as of July 24th, but the breakfast “burrito” I had was basically a panini. Wasn’t a huge fan. Nice ambiance and staff seemed chill! No spicy 🌶 hot sauce
