Jules the manager there is blatantly overcharging for drinks to pad her tips. She’s done it several times. Charged me 7.65$ for a 16oz mocha which it says right there on the menu is 5.50. I called her out and she said “those are the old prices we should really take those down sometime” and I was like yeah you can’t just make up your own prices for drinks lol super illegal. I got no extra shots no extra anything… 5.50 after tax shouldn’t equal almost $8.

I stopped by here one Sunday and the baristas up front were all so friendly! If I could I would drive all the way into the valley everyday for coffee just for the customer service :)

I manage a coffee shop in Wisconsin and I’m intentional with the coffee shops I try when I’m traveling. I’m so glad I gave this place a visit. The baristas were so intentional with the customers that came in. They really made this space feel very welcoming. Loved the creativity of the menu. I got an americano, the pear chai, and the Cloud 8. I also got the avocado toast. INCREDIBLE! Amazing atmosphere! Amazing coffee! Amazing food! Amazing people! A must try!

Bright, open, quiet, well-run operation (some might find it, "sterile") with distinctive coffee beverages and beans; limited, but very good food offerings.

I have been going to Ladder for a while. I enjoy their sandwiches and coffee. They are always very creative with their sandwiches and the way they draw the cutest leaves in their coffee. I recommend their avocado toast and their waffles.

In Spokane visiting. This place is awesome. Great coffee sandwiches are fresh and attention to detail is crazy good. Staff is super nice. I wish we had this is Seattle.

Very spendy for the amount you get. That being said, I bought the Monophonic Dark Roast whole bean coffee. I make my own lattes. It's the best and smoothest dark roast I've ever had. So good I often make two a day. It melts in your mouth like a chocolate truffle. A pleasant soft taste that lasts and highlights the flavors you choose for your latte. Usually I prefer a little more bite (bitter) The Monophonic is so evenly balanced. Not bitter at all, just smooth and addictive.

Simple, fantastic, easy going. Such a magnificent environment! Service was good, smiles and helpful through and through! I got a great London fog with a fantastic temperature and timely presentation. Highly recommend for a study session, quick talk with a friend, or a morning watching the rain through their gorgeous front glass windows. Will be back soon!

Cute space but it can fill up very fast. The coffee was good but the coffee cake was a bit dry. Love they have vegan options but they are limited.

Very nice place and the coffee was superior. Down 1 star because they don't carry Splenda. I find the coffee places that provide only non-sugar sweeteners that are more natural to be tedious, wish they would all just stop with it.

Very good coffee, delicious sandwhich. The girls Haley and Taylor were extremely friendly. The only issue was that some of the seating was stained, which I avoided. Otherwise, it's a top-notch place!

Been to the downtown location. Had great coffee and great service. But The Valley location my shots were very bitter in my mocha and tasted burnt. Chia tea was extremely watery and the barista barely even said hi.
