Lively spot for drinking coffee and watching people. Families, bicyclists, hikers. Fireplace located in the lobby with board games, too.

Poor service and rude staff that seem like they don’t want to be there. Overpriced food options. Better options in town. NOT RECOMMENDED!

They never called us to pick up our food. We waited and waited. Finally had to go back and reorder. They just forgot. It was very strange.

After walking the Fort we stopped in and shared a Reuben sandwich, a mocha and chips. It's bright, sunny and very clean. Food was quick and tasty.

Coffee is good. They have 3 different kinds of croissants. Overkill I think, a Danish or 2 would be better. Or any other choice. Who needs 3 flavors of croissants?

Reveille Cafe used to be one of the coolest things at Fort Warden State Park. A hidden gem that most Port Townsend locals didn't even know about. Two and a half years since my last visit and those days are gone. There is no indoor seating except for three tables...and they're all stuffed into one corner, "because of covid." No six-foot spacing required. The hardy breakfast and lunch fare served on real plates with actual flatware is a thing of the past. A sandwich now comes in a paper french fry container and plastic " break-in-your-mouth" utensils are available. I asked if I should sit outside so as not to take up a four-top table. The staff were confused, not knowing what a four-top table was or a two-top table for that matter. The disinfected personality free staff informed me that the breakfast sandwiches were not available... after being open for 1-1/2 hours. It was the only breakfast item on the Sunday breakfast buffet menu. I chose a toasted chicken sandwich that was crunchy and delicious on the outside but the bread was soggy on the inside. The chicken was tepid slices of pressed meat; cheese melted around the edges but not inside. The vegetables had been taken out of a pre-packaged salad; mealy tomato wedges and unstemmed spinach. Tables unwashed, "for covid," I'd imagine. Bathrooms were tragic but the cleaning logs were all checked off. The gift shop is now storage; look through the glass door at stuff you can't have. Post Script - I've been here in Fort Worden State Park for 4-1/2 hours and have yet to see a ranger.

I stop in here every so often to grab a cold drink as I hike through the Fort. I no longer eat here very often. The café is bright and pleasant with large windows and nicely spaced seating. The menu has a nice selection, and there are grab and go snacks and drinks. The quality is adequate, the service is often slow and the prices are high.

Inedible breakfast sandwiches. Pastry offerings were one type of scone. Mocha was not hot. Very disappointing and embarrassed to bring my guest there.

Reveille at The Commons, Fort Warden, a real hidden gem, a must try. Every time we camp at Fort Warden, we make sure to stop at Reveille for something good to eat (sandwiches, soups, pastries, cookies). Open for the breakfast and lunch crowd, their grab and go menu is creative with just enough variety, and the food is always delicious. Several pastry offerings are a real treat with coffee or tea. And the cookies, WOW, they are made in-house and are exceptional!! Our compliments to the talented baker! The staff is welcoming, friendly, and efficient. Right now, there is limited seating inside but ample seating outside, next to The Commons building, or multiple picnic tables around the grounds for a more private setting. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Reveille to anyone visiting Fort Warden or, for that matter, Port Townsend. Check out Reveille at The Commons, you won’t be disappointed!
