Delicious food and tea! I loved stopping in here during chilly, windy days to warm up and have a light meal.

The owners used to run a neighborhood cafe in NW Portland OR, and had to stop by to say hello while in Port Townsend recently. The food, the coffee, the easy feel and friendly service were all the same as I remember. Worth a visit, or several. PDX's loss is PT's gain.

Awesome place to sit and have an absolutely delicious pot of tea and a light breakfast or lunch. Much larger that it looks from outside, with plenty of space to nestle and sip your cuppa. We had Tiger Spice and Bittersweet Lemonade teas, and they were both amazing. Highly recommended as a must- visit it if you’re in Port Townsend!

We’ve eaten here a couple of times over the last year (when we visit), and I’m always impressed by the quality of the food and baked items.

Neat place but no wifi. Went here to do some work on my laptop but ended up being a waste of time and money.

The vibe here is relaxed and inviting. Of the many tempting things on the menu, I enjoyed the clam chowder which was substantial but not overly rich. I left satisfied and refreshed for my time off my feet.

Delightful and tasty. Fine large tea and tisane assortment. Reserve a tea party, well worth the few bucks. Don't be afraid to drop in for tea like the Queen (Earl Gray with a touch of cream) and the avocado toast. This place is a gem.

This is a really wonderful cafe run by extremely kind people. I stopped by for a coffee and iced tea (both of which were high quality and delicious) and ended up forgetting a bag with some important items. I didn't realize this until I was on my way home, but the folks at Cafe Tenby were kind enough to mail it to me. Absolutely recommended as a nice stop for good beverages in a lovely atmosphere with kind and honest employees.

Very, very disappointed 🙁. I had company visiting from Texas. I made reservations for High Tea, which Cafe Tenby schedules for Saturdays. I received a confirmation for my reservation a few days before the appointed Saturday, asking that if we cannot make it, to give them notice. We drove 40 minutes to arrive for our High Tea and the place was closed! Cafe Tenby did not even have the courtesy to send me an email advising that our reservation was cancelled. So rude! Followup: Cafe Tenby contacted me and said they sent me a cancellation notice 3 days before. I have gone through my deleted mail, not read mail, and junk mail and did not find that email. I am not saying I was not notified--I just do not find it. However, in all fairness to Cafe Tenby, High Tea is by reservation and I am confident I was not the only reservation that day. That being said, when I arrived at the cafe, there were no lines of people waiting to be seated; which leads me to conclude Cafe Tenby did send out cancellation notices.

Some of the best homemade cookies, soups, fresh bread we’ve ever tasted. A wonderful place for breakfast and lunch.

Large tea selection made to order in a little French press. Teas also can be purchased. Nice assortment of sweet goodies. Kitchen offerings include sandwiches, soups and more.

Great place to drop in for a sandwich and cuppa. The Good News: with a reservation you too can do high tea. The Bad News: you can find yourself without a place to sit on a busy tourist weekend. YMMV.

High tea for my birthday! This is a wonderful tea house. Cozy, and charming but with a modern touch. The high tea is by reservation only and I HIGHLY recommend it! We got dressed up in our tea hats for the occasion!

Lovely, cozy Tea House with an amazing selection of teas. Sit down with a pot of tea and a scrumptious baked good, or go the Full Monty with their High Tea. (Reservations needed for the High Tea). They also serve yummy sandwiches and soups for lunch. Great outdoor space for nice weather, or the cozy fireplace inside.
