Row restaurant in Olympia is a really cool waterfront restaurant near the boardwalk, with indoor and outdoor seating. The menu features delicious dishes made with fresh ingredients, and the service is excellent. Highly recommended.
Great food, nice atmosphere, nd friendly staff highy recommend
That had to be hands down the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had! I had them put the spicy honey on the side because I’m a bit of a spice wuss (which even that was delicious on its own), but dear God that sandwich was good. The garlic fries were amazing as well and I’m not even a huge fan of garlic. Definitely coming back to this place. 🥰
Nice atmosphere. Breakfast steaks are inconsistent in flavor and temperature. They're too expensive for a sirloin, and the service is preoccupied with chatting with their co-workers.
Best brunch! The garden omelette was FANTASTIC! Fresh and creative, service was excellent! Dying for more!
I will give it 5 stars, I had a smoked salmon omelet with potatos but the potato were a little crunchy- they needed to be cooked longer but the Smoked Salmon Omelet was vantastic. I will go again and I would say to go try it out, not a bad place to eat. I went with two other people today and one people who has never been to Row on state st was blown away when she had the Smoked Salmon Benedict with hashbrowns, she said it was fantastic, tasting. 08/28/2022. Still Fantastic tasting still, it was very busy today
Great food! The shrimp toast was delicious! We also got the steak salad and the Hot Nashville Chicken Sandwich and both were phenomenal! Our waitress Margaret was super sweet and helpful! We’ll be back!
Overall, it's okay. The atmosphere feels a bit basic and without thought, like a 90's kindergarten classroom. The food was by far the best part of the restaurant. The tacos were tasty and presented well, though the random bowl of sliced carrots was an odd touch and felt like an afterthought. If I were already in the area, I'd go here again, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. The location isn't the best, unless you're planning on visiting the Olympia waterfront. If you're just looking for a meal, parking isn't fun and you're guaranteed to walk a bit. There is outdoor seating with views of the marina, which is plus on nice days. The worst part of the place is the service. We were rushed to our table before I made it all the way through the door, and asked about orders before I'd had a chance to read past the first dish on the menu. Keep in mind that 75% of the tables were empty, they were NOT busy. The topper was when the check was dropped off while my partner was still eating, and I mean only half way through their meal, not on the last bite. There was no conversation or question about desert or drinks to follow, just a booklet dropped on the table in front of me. The service is what will turn me away from this place in the future. Warm attitudes and friendly demeanor go a long way in the service industry and they don't seem to grasp that.
Food online menu with pictures are different than what is on the menu in the restaurant ... The owner was nice and friendly .... The way I ordered my food did not come to me ... The salmon burger was really good .... The fries were not hot ... My cocktail was good as well... My corn chowder will clams was alright ... I had to pay if I ate it or not ... The prices $$ or could be $$$ if you do not watch how much you order .... Check it out for yourself ...
Awesome place in the heart of downtown, right next to the waterfront, great food, amazing staff, cool ambience. The menu has very limited options; for vegetarians there's only 1 item on the mains, Mac and cheese, but it's the best Mac and cheese ever. Their garlic cheese bread is outstanding as well. Nachos and salsa was just fine. Bread service with herb butter was pretty good as well. Ask them for the pies, it's not on the menu, but they have 2-3 flavors on any night. T We tried the coconut creme pie, it was delicious. No vegan options. Non alcoholic drinks are also super limited. But good options if you enjoy alcohol. Their coffee was amazing. Shout out to the staff who was serving us, she was amazing and super cheerful.
This place was very good! We had drinks and appetizers.
Best Nashville chicken sandwiches! Service lacking a little but could be due to the peak times I go.
My friend had the salmon hash and loved it. I didn't love my dish but it was unique. The place is very awesome and and the staff was attentive and friendly.
One of our favorite places to eat. The service and food are always wonderful. Great with little kids too!
I like this place a lot for a quick lunch. I’ve made a couple pit stops here now — love the location, the atmosphere and appreciate the staffs friendliness. I think the food is pretty good for the area. One criticism though - the chowder is really a thin, corn soup. Compared to all the excellent chowders in the PNW, this one’s just not top tier. Overall it’s good and easy place to bring visitors new experiencing coastal PNW life.
Went to Row for the first time today, and what a treat! I had the cheeseburger--perfectly cooked, super fresh bun, and just the right blend of toppings--and my wife had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Many times, those are just slathered in hot sauce--all heat, no flavor--but this one was cooked and flavored expertly: sweet with pleasant heat, super tender, delicious! The ambiance was great! Although there was a decent sized lunch crowd, the space feels open and intimate (kudos to whomever installed sound-absorbing panels on the ceiling--yes, we noticed!). The entire space was immaculate, including the bathrooms, and even the condiment containers on the table were spotless. Not all restaurants have this level of attention to detail. Finally, Alisha was a fantastic server. She was friendly and welcoming and took the time to give us thoughtful menu recommendations. So glad we have this great little spot in Olympia! We will be back again and again! P.S. One final note: because of my wife's soy allergy, she can't eat soy-based foods or foods cooked in soy oil. Alisha promptly checked with the kitchen to make sure there was no soy in the food or oil. Thanks for spending the extra money to use quality ingredients, Row! Mwah!
Was pleasantly surprised they had brunch until 2. Had a Benedict, which was delicious! Great homemade hashbrowns as well. Service was prompt and friendly, too. I'll definitely come back!
Had the best experience! Firstly, the food was excellent!! I got a few recommendations from different sources....they recommended the fish tacos and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. I took the sandwich and it was AMAZING! Secondly, the service was great!! So friendly and provided more recommendations. Lastly for me they created such a great vibe! I loved the music choice!
I want to give the food a more stars but it lacked seasoning. I had the fish and chips. Fish was good but the better was tasteless. Brownie with ice cream was in point.
The appetizers were great and the staff excellent. However, I don't think the chef knows how to cook fish - both dishes overdone. The burgers come on slate boards which look cool but not much room for a messy burger. And too much cowslaw on the salmon burger. I will probably not return for some time. Many other restaurants.
