They didn't even fill up my cup. I took one small sip. And this is what I have. I asked the batista what drink was what and she had no idea what she had made. This is pathetic. I should have pulled my tip out of the tip jar.
The atmosphere suggested a promising coffee option for Sunday’s when Farmhouse is closed. The first time I was here, the young woman working was quite pleasant and helpful, but the coffee was not great - or even good. At this visit, another staff member was just rude. The coffee was a step above gas station coffee at both visits.
Great easy start to a Sunday morning.
BEST coffee I ever had! Emmy made our caramel lattes and she's amazing. Perfect flavor and sweetness complete with latte art.
Not friendly and attitude act not care and I ask questions and say not know when my card is charger 3 time . She need learn treat and correct attitude.
5/1/23 - placed an order for a bagel with cream cheese, a side of bacon, and a grilled cheese. The bagel came with 2 cups of cream cheese, the side of bacon was 3 slices, and the grilled cheese had less than a handful of chips for a side. 5/2/23 - placed an order for a bagel with cream cheese and a side of bacon…. Today I only received 1 cup of cream cheese and the side of bacon was only 2 slices….. yet I was charge the same price! Will never place an order again. There is no standard. Obviously no training. What a joke!
Best game in town. Coffee and vibe is straight fire!
My favourite coffee shop around! Lovely service, excellent dry cappuccinos, and the baked goods from Albemarle Bakery are delish! Plus the open mic one Friday Nights & artwork add to the community atmosphere.
Mediocre at best. Disorganized and slow. 30 minutes for a coffee that was overly sweet and undrinkable
Coffee was good but the music was so awful and was blasting so loud we couldn’t even hear each other talk. Not really a vibe for 830 in the morning
Great coffee ☕, very relaxing atmosphere
This is probably my favorite coffee shop...ever. the staff is super friendly to my rambunctious daughter and myself. They have great food... seriously we get food there maybe twice a week, and drinks about 3 times a week. The set up is very inviting as well. The open mic was very inclusive...my kiddo even got to perform. Daily assorted pastries, a great regular menu, the best drinks, and the environment makes this a definite win.
Im from out of town visiting family and was told about French Press. Went this morning and had an amazing sandwich with pesto, salami, banana peppers and fresh mozzarella. They had a gluten free option for me as well. I ordered a iced vanilla latte with oat milk and it was delicious 😋. Thank you for a great Sunday breakfast!
Great coffee, snacks, and atmosphere. If I lived here I would spend a lot of time here.
The coffee is decent but if you are a guy, they won’t make the designs for you in the drinks.
great open mic 1st and 3rd Fridays. Nice place, good coffee.
The service and quality at The French Press is so inconsistent. I ordered an Americano which was lukewarm and tasted weak. I also got a spinach quiche and after 20+ minutes of waiting inquired. She simply said, oh “I left it in the warmer, hang on.” Another 5 minutes and it came out just room temp. It tasted delicious which is why I gave two stars over one. I love the atmosphere for sitting to work or journal and I come here at least once a month but after this most recent visit will be seeking other coffee shops.
I’ve been in a couple of times. The shop is nice and spacious, the coffee is fine, the menu options are good, but there’s an employee who has a sharp tone. The first time I overlooked it, but the second time (same person) I decided I wouldn’t return after that.
The coffee here is ok, it's good thing they have many syrup options to circumvent that. However the main concern is that when I have been in the past, the employee is a bit short with the customers. It intimidated me to order coffee/food, so I just chose to go elsewhere instead.
Coffee and baked goods first rate. Service sadly lacking.
