Very good coffee and a barista who knows what he’s doing.
The best coffee I've tried lately. Excellent atmosphere.
Fantastic drinks, inviting & fabulous baristas!!
Vanilla latte and a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich - delicious. Freshest breakfast ever eaten outside my own kitchen. Loved enjoying my food while sitting on the front porch.
I know us millennials get ripped for paying too much for avocado toast. And I def did that here, but it was dank - but a little expensive from a cost / city population ratio.
This is my favorite specialty coffee shop in town! The food and drinks are delicious and the service is always friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The prices are a little steep, but worth it for the quality. The only downside is that the building can be difficult to access if you have a stroller or are in a wheelchair since the outside seating area requires walking down steps and the entrance is narrow.
Had the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. It was good, and the staff was friendly.
Stopped by in the afternoon before they closed. Had seasonal honey lavender latte. It’s the best I ever had (too good, forgot to take pictures) Super friendly staff. Highly recommended if you are in this area exiting Blue ridge drive for a break.
Aaron is very friendly! Great coffee
We had a Cafe Meil latte, Avocado toast, Brown sugar iced latte and morning bun. All excellent! Service and atmosphere great!! Coming again♥️
This is one of my favorite local coffee shops ever. I've enjoyed every drink I've had and the food is exceptionally good for a coffee shop. I stop by any time I'm in the area and able. Such a cozy, lovely place to work, catch up with a friend, or simply stop in.
Overpriced and overrated. When I went I also didn't receive very good service at all. I love coffee shops, and would have loved to love this place. Bad food with very few options, inattentive staff, and being super pricey makes it so that I will very unlikely return. The French Press is too close by to bother with this place.
I stayed in C'ville last night en route north and saw this place during my search on maps. Not in the direction I was traveling but worth the detour. Historic house feel, just up the hill from downtown. There is plenty of table seating inside and an outdoor patio to the side. Some steps if you enter from the front, and gratis street parking. I think there's an upstairs section as well, but I didn't scope it out. The guys working were friendly, and the barista put together one of the better mochas I've had, just sweet enough without being too much. Cool paintings for purchase as well. It's definitely a permanent save in the maps coffee label for future visits.
I used to come to this building when it was the previous business, and I love what Farmhaus has done with the decor - it has a clean, cozy atmosphere. My latte was delicious and the staff was friendly. 5 stars all around.
Diamond in the rough. Excellent coffee variety with healthy add-on options. Plenty of space for small to mid size group. Bit greasy on the food, but that hits the spot most mornings.
Great coffee. Did tastes good but it's a bit spendy.
Ordered food for two here along with two coffees. We had two bacon egg and cheese on a bun which were very good. Then we ordered a hot coffee and a flat white, these definitely helped start our mornings. I went back around lunch for a recharge and ordered an iced coffee but this time it was the special holiday blend that the barista had recommended. The spices and flavors exceeded expectations and helped me get past that mid day slump.
I love this place (we live in the Tree District) but the espresso tends to the extremely concentrated, sour kind you find in some gourmet shops. Not the classic espresso shot you will find anywhere in Italy, at the iconic Seattle-based chain or even the FP downtown. I'm not sure what the explanation is, I don't think it's anything they are doing technically wrong (they know their coffee) but just a paradigm thing? Atmosphere, food menu and the rest of the coffee menu are great. I just can't drink a doppio here.
One of the best coffee shops in the valley without a doubt
Best coffee in town! Love the setting. Plenty of cute nooks to sit both inside and out.
