Uptown Coffee Cafe

Great spot to relax and have coffee. The staff were very nice so I definitely recommend going to this cafe.

Nice atmosphere but the service was not great. Food was delivered to the table without silverware or napkins so I was obliged get up and ask for it. Not enough ketchup for the fries served, no water, and the waitress never checked in during the course of the meal to see if I needed anything. All this after I had tipped first at the register when the order was made. I would recommend withholding tip until the end of the meal. **UPDATE: Went back one year later. I paid $27 for a bland vegetarian sandwich, freezer fries with ketchup packets, and a mango smoothie. The table was dirty, and the service was indifferent. After dropping my food off, the waitress turned to leave so fast I had to call her back to get the wi-fi password. How this place has such a high rating, I can't imagine.

The food is ok. Please give your bathrooms a deep clean especially since they are next to the dining room. Please clean the inside and outside of your commodes. Clean your walls, doors in your restrooms. They are filthy.

Had the breakfast Panini and Chamomile tea with sweetened strawberry and honey...hostess was warm welcoming and friendly...calm..cool..chill vibe here..soft low key atmosphere and not too crowded on the weekday mornings...great food..people were nice easy going good mix of college kids and adults of different types and sizes...luvs luvs luvs it...would recommend to anyone!! Great job!

Visited my favorite coffee shop today. Been coming to Uptown for couple of years now and they always deliver. Really like that they now have burgers and a selection of appetizers. Great service today. Maddison was spot on! I really enjoyed my latte and glad to see that the waffles are back!

Pretty steady decline since the new ownership took over... the customer service was off-putting, and the extra fees and up-charges for everything were excessive.

Our first visit was on a Saturday with nice weather. Upon entering the Cafe was pretty busy but we were greeted promptly by Charles who gave us some suggestions. The tomato pepper soup was delicious and the chicken wrap was plenty for the 2 of us to split. Will definitely visit again!

Great service and nice atmosphere. Got a fantastic breakfast sandwich. The bread was perfectly toasted, the sandwich was served quickly, and it was hot and fresh. Enjoyed the Pressed brand Blackberry Lemon juice too.

They work off of tips, but I still had to pour my own coffee. No prices listed on their board. Breakfast menu was a piece of paper I couldn’t see till I got to the counter. I never go here to work, but if you’re gonna kick people out for sitting too long, you shouldn’t identify as a café in your name, you should only identify as a restaurant. The food tastes like cafeteria/prison food.

Sometimes when original owners move on, they take the whole atmosphere with them. I haven't been in for a bit but today was just a disappointment. I used the online order, received confirmation and order number, only to arrive and they haven't even made the sandwich. The girl didn't look overly interested or concerned that the order wasn't ready. She looked at my phone and said "oh that was done via Chow Now, that comes in differently". Ok....so if you have more than one way for the order to come thru, maybe there should be a system in place to catch all online orders. What good was placing the order and paying ahead if I still had to wait. Sandwich was not made to order. Lack of enthusiasm or any sort of customer service. No need for me to return. Definitely other places to eat. And, upon my review of comments, whomever responds lacks customer service too.

Don’t even wanna give this place a 1 star, but I had to for the review. They were rude and disrespectful and asked me to leave because I was there doing work on my computer (which I thought was what coffee shops are notorious for, never had this problem at a Starbucks) I purchased a coffee and breakfast, so I thought this would consider me a customer, and I wasn’t going to be told to leave. But, I was. Will not be back Staff was rude. Starbies forever.

If you’re wanting to treat this place like a coffee shop and have a nice latte while you get work done, keep looking. Staff was rude and judgmental

Enjoyed this cafe. Tried a latte and the hash rounds for a little treat. Yummy. Staff was nice and prompt with my order. Cozy decor and nice little shop on Main Street to people watch for a bit.

Stopped by FarmVille to visit our daughter and had a great breakfast. Good coffee and good egg sandwiches.

Today's experience was pretty poor. Service was pretty lackluster: the young woman at the counter barely looked up when I walked in. I ordered coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Apparently all coffee is now self-serve and it is NOT good. The coffee tastes like it was reheated from yesterday. Not worth the cost at all. When my sandwich arrived, I had no napkin or utensils, and the woman said, "There's some at the coffee." And she walked away to sit at the counter and look at her phone. It is not at all busy. I won't be back. So sad.
