The Dayton Market is a fun, 'unexpected' place to have lunch. Essentially, the DM is individual stores & markets along with a "restaurant" and several dining 'areas,' under one roof. The dining area, in the middle, has a choo-choo train, encircling it from above. The train, that most normal people think is totally cool, set me back a whopping 25¢! (Really... how many foodie places in the U.S. have a moving model train that you can operate for an ACTUAL quarter!?) 🤠 There are lots & LOTS of goodies to be found here! Varieties of homemade baked goods, candies and more! The Dayton Market is now on my 'secret places' list to have lunch! I had the piquant cheese, club sandwich, w/ choice of side dish. 👍 *If you finished reading this review,..you should already be on your way there...go!

Very pleasant collection of shops. I especially recommend the bakery between the coffee shop and restaurant. They have delicous cinnamon rolls for $2! The coffee shop is great as well. Come here instead of chains cafes/restaurants. Always filled with good people.

We are here every couple of weeks and never leave empty handed. There are tons of great shops from a butcher to the cheese place. Love the candy options in the Cheese place and we always leave with something from the butcher or the baker, or both!!!! Drive down to Dayton for an opportunity to browse and find something you are looking for or look for something you didn't know you needed!!!

Visited the cheese place. My wife and I loved it. Great selection of cheeses, spices, canned (jarred) vegetables , jellies, old fashioned candy, and snacks, ect. This is a wonderful place to visit. Great atmosphere and very friendly people. Stop in and visit, you'll be glad you did.

Met a friend for lunch and had a great sandwich at The cheese shop. Coffee cafe was also great. Got a hot chocolate with toasted marshmallow syrup. Creamy. Yum.

A lot of cute shops and friendly people! Particularly enjoyed trying the different jerkies and delicious chocolates. Lots of fun kitchen tools on one end and hard to find ingredients on the other end make for a great adventure. Lots of beautiful arts and crafts for sale along with some crafting supplies. It was worth the hour drive.
