They are always busy for a reason - good food at a fair price. Biggest problem is finding a place to park.

We had lunch (Philly Cheese Steak/fries and Patty Melt/Onion Rings). Great service, tasty food and reasonable prices. Old timey diner atmosphere.

Enjoyed the food and the service . Probably stop in again. Still a great place for diner food and good service. The staff is wonderful. Really like it when I can stop by for breakfast

Lunch with my husband. He raved about the tuna melt! My country fried steak was delicious. Nice retro restaurant with great food, great service, great prices!

Busy little diner in downtown Culpeper. We stopped in on St. Patrick's day and they were busy. Once we were seated, I was pleased to see they offered scrapple, my favorite breakfast meat. Our waitress was excellent and the food came up quickly, considering they were packed. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I'll definitely revisit when I go back to Culpeper again.

I'd avoid weekend mornings. It's a zoo. Crazy crowded. Crazy loud. Great food choices. Very good service. 100% recommended for off-peak hours.

This place has the best breakfast in Culpeper IMO and the kitchen knows how to cook! However my friend and I came here for breakfast after the gym and had only eaten half our breakfast when the waitress slammed down our bill and walked away without asking if we wanted anything else. I wanted to order another side of grits and we wanted more coffee but we didn't get a chance to say anything. We felt bad to ask for more since she had already printed our bill. Finally my friend approached her to ask if we could add to our order and she gave me a judgemental attitude and made a comment about the grits being really good. We explained that we hadn't eaten yet and she said oh yeah I haven't either and this is why. A while later she came back and told me she had searched the world for more grits but they didn't have anymore. Idk if she just didn't want to print us a new bill or what but we felt really uncomfortable and like she hated us for no reason. I totally understand having a bad day and I work in the food industry as well and know it is very demanding but we really got a bad vibe from her and left as quickly as we could.

I ordered the Rueben and it was over cooked. There was not much taste to it. Even the bread seemed dull.

I love an old fashioned diner and this one fits the bill. The food is fair - nothing special, but it's ok. The staff are friendly and attentive. All menu items are served all day. The milk shakes are very good. Like any downtown area, parking around main street is a challenge. You just gotta search a bit. Culpeper is a very walkable town.

Went in for breakfast and the place was absolutely packed (always a good sign in my opinion). We sat at the counter near the register and were attended to often and by friendly staff. I had one of the breakfast platters; 2 eggs, country fried steak and potatoes with a biscuit - everything was really good. My friend had a platter served with 2 eggs, sausage patties, potatoes and hotcakes - he really enjoyed it. We both left with half our meals as the portions are very generous. We will definitely be back to try their lunch/dinner food.

Food is very good. Generous portions. Staff is very friendly and attentive. There are not enough staff working tables / booths. Per Virginia health code, the cook should cover his hair.
