Baristas were condescending & I felt rushed while ordering even though I was the only one ordering, hoped the latte would at least taste great for the price & attitude but unfortunately it was bitter & a little sour.

I usually have to search pretty carefully in a big coffee city to find this quality of espresso drinks and sandwiches.

Love the concept of a coffee shop with a bike shop attached! The staff was really attentive and helpful. The Monte Cristo was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had from a coffee shop. The black cardamom and orange blossom latte was incredible and not too sweet! Such a pleasant surprise to see such an upscale coffee shop in town.

Came in for a s’mores latte and boy the presentation didn’t disappoint. The flavor profile of the coffee was also delicious. As stated many times the cafe also doubles as a bike shop. I wasn’t sure how I would feel but the whole area had a very calming vibe with the overhead music. I could easily see myself setting up to work from here some days, surprisingly. The barista was also very polite and generous. I ordered the wrong latte for a friend and she made me the right one on the house. They offer pour over, which is my favorite way to have my coffee brewed. Looking forward to trying that. I definitely plan to be back! My only caution, Expect to spend $9-$12 for a latte.

Coffee is why you come here. Soon to be serving counter culture, and baristas are on-point with a LaMarzocca Strada double boiler machine and Kalita wave pourovers :) Sebastian Gomez single-farm lot Colombian pourover was perfect while in rotation. Would come back!!

My husband and I have been to 18 grams 3 times. We are from Richmond where the coffee scene is incredible. Let me tell you, 18 grams consistently gives knowledgeable service, always catering to our specific needs/tastes and tastes incredible. Culpepper has an absolute gem of a coffee establishment here. They always have Single Origin espresso available. I swear it is always pulled consistently. We order a cappuccino and a shot after and not only is the cappuccino’s foam identical every time, but the shot has little to no bitterness and is always balanced to perfection. I’m honestly baffled at this point. When 3/3 experiences are consistent, service is great, I have to give 5/5 stars. Thank you for continuing to deliver 18 grams!

Found this place this morning while waiting for my train. Will be adding time for a stop everytime I take the train. Excellent coffee and the best lemon poppyseed scone I've ever had!

I really regret giving these people my money. The barista was super condescending and god help you if you like anything other than what they think is correct. I generally don’t take my coffee with sugar but understood why someone might pay the extra $6 for sweetener at this place. It’s very bitter and harsh. I tried one of their flavored drinks and it tasted like burnt Indian curry. As the barista said though there are other places to will cater to “those people.” Personally I’d recommend any of the other coffee houses in town for a far more pleasant experience.

Take it from a world traveler, that the coffee is a little slice of Italy and the British style scones are delicious! Just tell them your there for the coffee not the exercise!

Went here for brunch with my fiancé, we each ordered food and I ordered a dessert latte. The food was very good, and I appreciated that they had some relatively novel ingredients and flavor combinations. The coffee was robust. Being a dessert latte, it was also very sweet. The café is also joined with a bike shop. My fiancé is a bike enthusiast, and was impressed by some of the brands they offered for bike accessories. The overall atmosphere was relaxed, and quiet. I think this would be a great place to meet up with a friend, or spend some time reading or studying.

Great business! Arrived 5min before opening and the drink manager opened early for us. Coffee and food was amazing! Paper lids for the coffee to be environmentally friendly! Highly recommended the avocado roast and bacon egg and cheese crossiant.

Phenomenal coffee shop — one of the best in the region. The owner is super knowledgeable, and one of the only places nearby where I've found (delicious) Japanese-style cold brew! The food was wonderful too — definitely planning on coming back the next time I'm in Culpeper.

On my way to Charlottesville I stopped by this coffee store to get an americano ☕️. The person taking my order says he not going to water down an espresso…. I was in shock… i was like ok just give me an espresso. I wasn’t asking for something crazy. He then hands me a cup of water as I wait for my espresso. This was sparkling water btw… you would think maybe a hot cup of water? He Didn’t ask if I wanted my drink for here or take out… so I asked if he didn’t mind giving me that espresso in a to go cup so I can drink it on the road. He then replied, he has never seen anyone get an espresso to go. At this point I wish I didn’t pay for my drink yet so I can walk out. But I already paid. He then pours my espresso into an espresso size to go cup. So I’m even more confused… if you have the espresso to go cup size, what’s the point of saying no one orders an espresso to go?

I need more than 5 stars because it’s not enough to say how awesome the drinks are here. I’ve tried the entire menu of seasonal mini lattes and they are all my favs!!!!! Keep up the tasty treats too! The cranberry turkey sandwich was an awesome addition to my coffee. Thanks so much!!!!!!

Incredible craftsmanship and quality control. I had a Japanese iced coffee and it tasted better than any iced coffee or cold brew I’ve ever had. It was so naturally sweet and smooth and tasted of strawberries and unicorns. Bravo!
