Best coffee in town. Period. No competition. Roast all their beans in house. Really nice staff. Pure coffee shop atmosphere. Doesn't get better than that.
Good atmosphere, good folks and superior coffee. Roasted in house. Decent menu as well, though I haven't yet ordered food. It does get loud inside if they're roasting beans.
Guess there's a different recipe for the age drink depending on the college student workin...
Wonderful coffee, wonderful staff, wonderful atmosphere. I graduated from Tech in the winter of 1997 and before then I drank a lot of coffee and wrote a lot of papers in this cafe. I left Bburg in 2001 and hadn't returned until this year (2023). The town is so changed, but I can still see the bones from back then. Except for this place, it hasn't changed a bit and the nostalgia was beautiful. I'm glad it's still going strong and spend your money here with confidence!
Love this place. It gets packed with students, but still feels so cozy and welcoming. They have excellent hot tea and pastries.
Great coffee since the early 1990s. Far better than the big national chain.

This is definitely a local favorite, they have great customer service and they are located in a great location. However, I dont like their coffee, they have a burnt aftertaste that they fix by adding a lot of sugary syrups. I tried several drinks and they all have the same issue specially their espresso.
I have been coming back here on a fairly regular basis. At first, I was told I could get a refill on an Americano. Then they said it was only on the the black coffee. So I decided only black coffee. I received a refill for a couple of visits. This time they are saying it has to be on the “mug for here”!! They really need to make y my mind.
Nice place to visit with folks & have quiet conversations. Service is good & they make a good cup of coffee.
Always a good little spot to take a meeting or meet up with people. Good drop coffee and bagels. Usually pretty busy but service is quick and friendly!
Great place for a latte or expresso. Beware students, you can't access canvas here unfortunately
Nice coffee choices and a handful of dessert and pastry options. They have some sandwiches as well. Free wi-fi results in people lingering a while, so seating can be tight at peak times.

The place has a nice aesthetic but their actual coffee is awful. I’ve had it multiple times and kept thinking maybe it was just a bad batch, but no, it’s always burnt tasting. There are much better coffee places in Blacksburg.
Friendly and fast wait staff. I enjoyed the veggie sausage egg sandwich on a bagel, and my chai tea latte with oat milk.
Great coffee and cool atmosphere. Can't work from there as the wifi blocks a lot of different apps and sites, some that were unexpected. But you have to balance bandwidth and usability so I get it, just worth noting.
