Nice break from your typical Starbucks venue. I brought my laptop and some homework. I had a complaint that I brought to an employee’s attention. Hopefully it get taken care of, otherwise…. I advise you go somewhere else.
Wow the coffee and tea was so delicious! Loved the coffee beans 🫘 Came with my family and we ordered couple of things, pesto sandwich was outstanding 😍
Salad dressings were not good. Service was slow and lack luster.

Cafe du Soleil is a lovely French spot with a gorgeous interior and cozy atmosphere. It's a great place to catch up with friends or for a business meeting. The coffee selection is extensive and the quality is excellent. Whether you're looking for a quick caffeine fix or a leisurely evening with good company, Cafe du Soleil has you covered.
This has been my go to coffee and brunch place since moving to Arlington. I go here at LEAST twice a week. They rotate seasonal coffee and have great brunch food. Highly recommend
I thought I’d left this marvelous spot a review ages ago, better late than never I guess. CdS is just a great example of a local cafe done really well. The coffee is great, food excellent and the breads and sweets are fantastic. There is a real pride of ownership here. A mention of how good the salad dressing was led to a few little cups to take home. A really great, unpretentious spot in Old Town.

There were mice crawling around underneath the couch near the door. My friend and I didn’t notice until after we had already eaten 😭
So, let's take it from the top. I've now been here 3 different times. Location: it's great but can fill up fast at different times. Service: could be better. Not very friendly anytime I've come here. Food: I'm simple, a scone/muffin and a coffee. Last 2 times I've asked for my scone to be warmed up and it's been cold in the middle. Great location, needs friendlier staff and better service.
Food is ok, not great, and quite expensive for what you get. A croissant with ham, egg and cheese with a smoothie is around 25 bucks. That's the bad. The good is that inside, it's charming and you really feel like you're in a little bakery in France or something. Cute little date place for brunch.
A nice spot, if not a bit overpriced. The salmon crepe was good, and my friends enjoyed their meals and coffee as well.

Cool place to grab a coffee and a bagel. every dish looked made with fresh healthy ingredients and large portions. I did t get to try their quiches or crepes but will be back for one :) The perfect place for a cappuccino and a comfy couch.
I love this cute, quaint little coffee spot in Old Town. Whenever I visit home and go for walk/run along the waterfront, I stop in here for a treat 😊
We stopped here on our day trip in old town Alexandria. Our dog was welcome inside and we preferred food and drinks. The portions are extremely filling and the food tastes fantastic. The setting is calm and perfect for a mid morning meal or some solo time with your computer.
Overpriced for what it is. The savory crepes are just sugar ones with savory ingredients in them and $20 (incl tax and tip) for that feels like a lot. They also mixed up peoples’ orders giving ham crepe de vegetarians ect. The location is nice though

Unfortunately, the customer service is severely lacking. We ordered delivery for brunch on Sunday. When our order arrived, two items were missing. I immediately called, but was told that they could not deliver it again and that I could either come and pick up the missing items or order again. I then requested a refund. However, after one week, I'm still waiting for my refund even though I called again to remind them.
This coffee and pastries place is incredible! I got the blossom cappuccino and their vanilla bread. They were delicious! Customer service was warm and attentive as well!! Highly recommend!
