Lovely spot to have a brew and a snack…friendly and happy to be there! Pleasantly surprised they had non diary milk so a big win there

Don’t tell anyone! By far (!!) the best breakfast burritos in VT! And the cappuccinos - ridiculous!

Hands down best breakfast burrito I've ever had! The Banh Mi is superb, the falafel is amazing! I don't think you can find a bad item on the menu. The staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is super relaxing.

Great place to eat. The service is friendly and the food and coffee are great! Outdoor seating made it great to sit outside on a beautiful Fall day in Vermont!

The cafe is adorable and very relaxing. The west facing front porch is perfect on a nice day. We had three of us for lunch. Excellent Turkey wrap and two falafel wraps. Plus iced tea and an ice cold Heady Topper. My only small gripe is the value. For instance, the side salad was modest. It’s a hair pricey, but foot traffic is light in Waterbury, so the economics are probably not ideal. They also have a lot of fun artwork for sale.

The cafe and the little shop in the entry are cute and feel very welcoming when you walk in. Outdoor seating on a little deck that you can access through the shop. There are a couple of tables and a bench just at the entrance where you can sit with dogs (not allowed in our through the shop). The person working the cafe may have just been having a rough day, but they were abrupt and scathing with some customers, downright rude to others. I didn't hear them speak nicely to one person while we were there. The coffee was fine; there were bits of egg shell in the egg sandwiches. I wouldn't rush back.

Ordered breakfast and the food was fabulous. English muffins are best I’ve ever had. We ordered a variety of egg sandwiches with meat and with veggies and everyone was silent with delight!! Will order from here again!!

My husband and I love SSC :) Steph and the rest of the staff are awesome - Their baked goods change frequently which is fun. Most recently, my faves have been spinach/provolone scone, nutella/PB cheesecake. The homemade english muffins with the breakfast sandwiches are fantastic as well. UPDATE: the peanut butter cookies are insanely good

Went here very hungry for breakfast, but were greeted with “please put your mask on”. Then, saw they were assembling sandwiches with their bare hands. How hypocritical! At that point our entire party walked out.

Fantastic breakfast sandwich, their homemade English muffins are the best I’ve ever had. The breakfast burrito is massive, they must put 8 eggs in it! The art is great too, great place to grab breakfast and a gift for someone!

Cute cafe with decor reflecting nice liberal values. Unfortunately the food took a long time to come out and wasn't particularly tasty and the coffee was exceptionally bitter. There's no dining in the cafe at the moment but there are a few tables on the deck and in the parking lot where you can eat.
