Fantastic experience. My friends and I had the breakfast sandwiches and we all agree that the ingredients taste fresh and you can tell are sourced from local farms. My gf and friend also had the pastries and those tasted great as well. Great little place to relax and enjoy your coffee. Staff very friendly as well. Highly recommend.

UPDATE: After sending a 2nd email to the owner on 11/24 I finally got a not so polite response. She did refund my money. That being said she and her employees should take a course on how to interact with the public. You be the judge. My husband and I went here for the first and only time on 11/11/2021. We placed our order, then we were told an item wasn’t available so changed the order which was ok but it was never taken off the bill. When my husband addressed it with the clerk she was extremely defensive and argumentative. They said they corrected the transaction but when I got home I realized they didn’t do it correctly. Called the next day and was told they couldn’t fix it and to send the information to the owners email. Well I did and still no correction or response and it’s 11/24/2021. WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN AND ADVISE YOU TO PAY CASH IF YOU CHOSE TO. Supporting a small business is what we generally do but being over 65 years old I expect to not be taken advantage of.

Hidden little gem. Hard to find from the main road, it’s On the backside of a shopping center by the post office. I had the spicy raven breakfast sandwich. It was excellent. The homemade chorizo is delicious and not too oily and the picked jalapeños are made there as well. Nice and crispy. Great combination.

I was visiting the Norwich/Hanover area and made Blue Sparrow my home base. The staff were very friendly, the cappuccino and mocha were great, and they had some great baked goods, especially the vegan apple carrot almond muffin. Just like the town of Norwich itself, this is a lovely cafe.

Good food pleasant atmosphere. Outside seating that is away from traffic. Unfortunately they are not very consistent regarding operating hours. It’s worth calling before you go. They just might be closed during posted operating hours. This is unfortunate if you’ve made plans.

This was our first time going here and we got take out breakfast sandwiches. We ordered them online and they texted us once they were ready. I got the Heron on an asiago bagel, with avocado, spinach, egg and tomato. It was very tasty and I am happy with what I chose. They look like they have many other vegetarian options for breakfast or lunch which I'd love to come back to try those another day.

10 stars out of 5 First of all, plastic-free take out containers always earns a good review in my book. Fantastic food, ethical, organic, AND affordable. We got the BLT b-fast sammy on sourdough with spinach, tomato, avocado, and cheddar. Everything was fresh and fantastic. Finally, they have the absolute best blueberry muffins that I’ve ever had. (The sample size for this study was not insignificant. I always get a blueberry muffin when I see one so I’m . . . experienced.) They’re not overwhelming sugary, not dry at all, just pure deliciousness. I’m glad I don’t live nearby, otherwise I’d regularly eat myself into a coma.

Great place to grab grub and cafe drinks. Today I tried the seasme chicken salad. It was honestly the best thing that I have eaten that I didn't create in over 6 months! It was truly a delight to eat and I can only offer one improvement which would be the addition of fried wanton strips. I had a few and it was ridiculous how perfect was. Great job layering flavor and distinctive ingredients. 👌🥰🙌

I’ll start by saying I totally get that it’s Valentine’s Day and they had a lot of to go orders this morning; absolutely understandable. We ordered and paid over the phone about 30 mins after they opened and were told 25-30 mins. I arrived at the half-hour mark and, again understandably, they were a bit behind due to volume of to go orders (no dine-in available). I proceeded to wait 35 more minutes (75 total) while they finished our order. At the end of this timeframe I realized the order had been ready for several minutes and was sitting on the counter. Frustrating, but not the end of the world. Come to find out they misread the order, made the wrong fresh juice. OK. Get to the car and check the order, missing a side of bacon. Bring order back in, am forced to open the boxes to prove the bacon is missing after I’m told I didn’t order a side of bacon (I did). Wait another handful of minutes for them to put bacon in the box. Get food home and everything is cold and dry. Probably the worst $50 I’ve spent. I’d give them another try, but only after the scars have healed...

This is a lovely, quaint cafe hidden away in downtown Norwich. There are several tables but during busy times you might not find a seat. In warmer months there are quiet tables outside. Many more people go to King Arthur for lunch. KAF is excellent, though the wait is typically much longer. The food here is very creative and there are some great veg options such as beet reuben. Much if not most of the meat comes from VT providers- this costs more but I appreciate it (not factory farmed). Coffee and coffee drinks are excellent. This is the place to go if you preference flavor, quality and ambiance over low price and quantity.

Chaotic, unpleasant experience. Order filled incorrectly after a 15 minute wait for two sandwiches. Multiple customers in shop experienced issues with their orders as well. Food was tasty, but obscenely expensive - $21 for two very small sandwiches. Staff was pretentious and cold. Can't recommend in good faith. Would rather not have gone, and will avoid going in the future. 3.5 stars for food, if it were half the price and pleasant.
