Cute place and excellent service! They went above and beyond, and they had gluten free options!! Definitely will be going back again!

Prices have jumped 1.50 or more from the menu here and 3 or more from the menu on foursquare. Also about 1/2 the selection of the foursquare menu. We waited about 15 minutes for 2 sandwiches to go even though there were 6 people working there and 8 people eating or waiting. The sandwich was nice - real turkey, not cold cuts on thicker homemade bread which was slightly stale, nice pickle. All in all, I'll try somewhere else next time.

The food ended up being very good, and the prices weren't too bad, we were just surprised by the 20 minute wait for steak and cheese and a salad when it wasn't busy. I don't think the dine in food is the focus, so we couldn't really get too upset. Nice atmosphere inside, we got two of the bakery goods for the road and they were very good.

Great little spot for sandwiches, baked goods, and other knick knacks. My roast beef sandwich had just enough meat on it, and a horseradish sauce that was lighter than most - tasted like sour cream. Reasonably priced, super friendly and efficient service. Loved it.

Pulled in by chance during a long road trip, and could not be happier! Great food, personable service, and wonderful atmosphere. Just what a weary traveler needed!

Great place to get a bite to eat. Soups, Sandwiches, and pastries are outstanding. Fresh, flavorful ingredients, and good size portions. I don't get up that way to often, but when I do, I make sure to visit. Outstanding job!

Stop for breakfast. All quiet inside. We were the only table. So you order at the counter and pay. They bring the meal to your table. You can bus your table yourselves. The food was good. Egg burrito and scrambled eggs were our choices. We also got a blueberry tart which was good. Unfortunately there weren't many bakery items to choose from. It was still a good visit and good location also.

Lunch was made fresh to order, and worth waiting for. I literally cannot remember eating a better reuben sandwich! And the deli salads were awesome, too (we brought some home for dinner later). We ended up here by accident, having tried to stop at another place down the road that caught our eye but was too overcrowded during the lunch rush. What a lucky break for us! We are more deli people than diner people anyway.

My wife and I ordered lattes with our breakfast. I asked for whole milk in my latte, but they only had skim, almond, and oat milk. Even though they had milk for sale in the refrigerator! I went with a skim milk latte, and my wife got an almond milk latte. Mine was completely flavorless and my wife's was completely burnt. Don't ask me how's that's possible. If you don't know how to make a latte, that's fine, just don't bother selling it! Breakfast wraps were decent but very plain.

Update: visited 6/10/2022 Had the perfect cup of coffee again! Raspberry mixed with regular. Perfect pancakes, eggs and bacon. Forgot to take a pic. Very clean, great staff!! Took home some baked goods this time, back to Long Island! Love this place! ---------------------------------- Never judge a book by its cover. My husband had been here 3 years ago (2016), and it was so good then, he added it as a favorite on his GPS (we live on Long Island!) The inside is welcoming and cozy. It's clean. Great sandwiches! I had the best cup of coffee ever. I mixed flavors, chocolate, hazelnut and regular! Great customer service, welcoming and accommodating! A must stop when you're in the area! I was too full from lunch to try dessert, their pies looked amazing.

We stopped here for lunch and I had a fantastic sub that was super filling and loaded with ham. Everything was so fresh and the bread was excellent. The large seating area out back was also really nice

We had a great time on their lawn, playing and having lunch with two kids and a dog. It was the perfect lunch break on a long car trip, and the food is excellent!

Very disappointed. The muffins were stale, and they forgot multiple things. It was very disorganized, which made it stressful to be there. The pancakes had little flavor and made me sick.

Wonderful service and an excellent array of lunch food, baked goods, and Vermont-stuff. A great hidden gem of a place to stop for a cheap bite to eat on the way through central VT.

Lots of eating and drinking options at the Heritage. They are open for breakfast and lunch and have sandwiches, common breakfast options, coffee (both drip and espresso), milkshakes, beer, and soda. The service was fast and friendly, as well.
