I had one of the most delicious Maple Lattes this past Saturday. The staff is friendly, accommodating and always keeping the shop organized, stocked and cleaned.
Great space and they open at 6:30 which is A rarity in Burlington. The downside is The service can be hit or miss and if you’re looking for a stellar cup of coffee this isn’t the place to go. Walk north for better options.
Love this little shop!! Coffee, of coarse, was great!! Had a muffin to die for. Big enough to sit in comfort, but still see outside.
I first found Speeder & Earls 20 years ago, was my go-to for a perfect coffee or latte; I moved away 17 years ago, and am thrilled to come back in 2023 with my 16 year old daughter to find it’s the same but with a great new generation of staff, same vibe and deliciousness, and beans available for purchase … and just as appealing to my daughter. Awesome!
Great people, great coffee
The new bags are terrible. I buy and grind in the store. The new bags cannot be resealed after they are opened. And speaking of opening them - the last one I bought today (12-22-2022) would not open more than halfway. Terrible idea. This is my last S & E purchase after buying Sumatra Mandheling for years. There are other coffees in the sea... Chose one star to be allowed to post this - otherwise ZERO stars for this bag.
Coffee was solid but the kids working there are clueless
Went here on way to downtown Burlington. Nice baristas. Got some advice about where to eat downtown. The coffee in my opinion isn't the greatest. Good atmosphere though. They're a bit out from downtown but not very far. I saw another one of these coffee shops as well in another city in Vermont so it seems like a chain.
Always loved Speeder & Earls but after a few bad maple lattes I am sad. I am disturbed. I am wondering why
From one coffee shop to another. This place did not disappoint. A must stop if you’re in Burlington Vt! Great coffee and latte drinks. Large selection and extremely fair prices.
Seems like a lot of thinking people are here. Coffee was perfect. Ham&Cheese Croissant was excellent. Will dine again.
Solid coffee shop with wonderful selections. Bit light of the caffeine for my brew but still good. Will come back again.
Iced earl gray and sky high chai are favorites!

Pretty reliably good coffee, quiet space, good deals on mug refills if you're sticking around, really cool plants. They also always have a selection of drip coffee which is appreciated. They're maple roasted iced coffee is also awesome if you wanted something a bit sweet but still want a black coffee.

We came here for the farm markets and met this local coffee store. People did not stop coming in. The business was good. I had hot chocolate+coffee while my wife had maple syrup flavored coffee.... It's a good rest spot for the relaxing atmosphere for your leisure time..... Recommended....
Atmosphere is good, coffee is fine, service is good! A little bit of parking and cool shops and galleries on the property as well.

Best hot mocha in town I have found, conveniently located and has an online ordering option. Large selection of coffee beans to go and you can get them freshly ground how you want them there which provides a great option for supporting local AND saving money by brewing at home.
