They use homemade caramel sauce which instantly gets my vote.
My first day in Burlington, they were super kind and the vanilla caramel latte is perfect :D
My go to cafe - favorite in every way! The staff is the absolute best, they are always more than happy to make adjustments to my drinks, their location is right by the bike path (perfect) & their menu is delicious. 10/10 would rec… they’ve also got really great events!
I LOVE Kestrel. They have the best Chai Latte I've had in the area- not too sweet, not too spicy, wonderful flavor. It's house-made, so you can't get I anywhere else! I also have to rave about the Monkey Muffins, the Midnight Snack Noodles, and the Chicken Salad. When I forget to pack a lunch, I can stop by Kestrel for an easy quick lunch. The owners and the whole team are kind and friendly, and always remember my order. Can't recommend Kestrel enough!
Not a good experience. Ordered a cup of drip and asked for a bag of beans. The drip was meh, not phenomenal, but not terrible so I can live with that… although I wasn’t told my total when paying, odd practice. The bag of coffee I was given is a month old! It’s terrible, it won’t pull a good shot no matter how much puck prep I do. I was really looking forward to exploring more coffee in Burlington as I’d generally had a good experience at other shops.
Ambiente espaçoso, com grande variedade e ótimo para café da manhã. Café saboroso e com bom custo
I don't know if this shop was just having a really off day but we had a terrible experience. I ordered a chai latte and it was complete water. I tasted nothing but water and a little milk. It was as if no tea was added at all. My husband ordered the same and confirmed. We brought them back and tried ordering something simple: cappuccino. They were extremely dark and very bitter. I couldn't suffer through it and tossed it. I order cappuccinos often and haven't run into this problem. Will definitely not be back. A multitude of better options within walking distance.
Walking distance and coffee was good. Easy service and seating. Thanks.
The sandwich was great and a lot of open space and artwork
Cute place with a friendly atmosphere!
We stopped in after a brisk walk along Lake Champlain. The drinks are delicious (the food: not so much). The space is beautiful and I love that dogs are welcome. It was also great to see that local art is for sale.
First Google review here! Amazing coffee. Been pulling great shots at home with their espresso blend. Like someone else alluded to, it's got some third wave brightness, without the jaw puckering citrus. Really enjoying it. No option to tip the friendly, helpful, smiling barista made me want to put a couple bucks in his non-existent tip jar! Oddly, businesses that do not accept tips these days have the best service. We have to admit that it's gone a little too far. Thank you! I feel valued as a customer, and will continue to frequent your shop. You and Brio can keep showing the hipsters how it's done. Some of us notice, and really appreciate it. Cheers
Excellent flat white
A unique cafe with specialty coffees just a short walk from Lake Champlains Perkins Cove water front. Parking is almost non existent adjacent to the property so we parked in the public lot just a block away across the tracks. They have sidewalk window ordering and inside seating available. A great place to sit and enjoy gourmet brew. They are also dog friendly if the dog is friendly and have treats available for sale. Of course Gus ordered one and he said it was delicious and voted this cafe 5 paws out of 5.
Great coffee but I keep getting blown up by the rebel flagship.
I love this place. Great spot to hang out and study if you like a more busy but cozy environment. The coffee is absolutely a 10/10 here and the pastries are wonderful. The interior is just beautiful and the entire energy is so light and enjoyable. I highly recommend check this place out.
Loved the maple oat milk tea latte!!
I go to Kestrel everyday. Their team never disappoints. Highly recommend!
My boyfriend and I stopped in while exploring Burlington. We got two coffees. Love how it also looks like an art gallery. Definitely love the bike parking inside.
Seemed like more of a study spot than a coffee shop. The coffee roast I bought from here was okay but definitely a bit under roasted with tasting notes that didn’t match the what the packaging said. I also got a sandwich here that was stale and barely had any Turkey and cheese in it, would not get the food here again…
