Got the beignets, the person serving them didn't even apply the sugar properly. Most of the sugar was in the container not on the pastry. Very disappointed and will not be returning
Do not miss out! Wife and I made sure to stop by as we had heard so much about this place. We ordered the naked frites/plain fries, the beignets (French doughnuts), Double le lechche latte, and the Belgium hot chocolate. The drinks were both perfect, the hot chocolate was velvety and smooth. The latte was perfectly sweetened and mixed well with the espresso. The beignet and the fries were just sublime. I’ve traveled to New Orleans to try beignets but this place beats New Orleans by a longgg shot. The fries are the best in the state, you’d have a tough time finding better fries even in NYC.
Cannot pas buy without getting a fantastic drink
Visiting from Boston, really looking forward to beignets, but frying oil was clearly not hot enough resulting in *completely* saturated dough and outer crust was over fried 🫥 Powdered sugar dispenser was clogged and so very little powdered sugar was applied 😑 Inedible. Leunig's- please revise....and if able to make this right, we are here until Friday.
Stopped in for a Latte and some Beignets. The coffee is hot and the Beignets are cooked while you wait so takes a few. They are hot and flavor, however were crisp and I am.use to the soft ones.
Tasty vegan pastries!
The salads are low key OUTSTANDING!! As are the truffle parmesan frites!
Wonderful little stand to grab a sandwich, coffee, and pastries, with some nice outdoor tables to soak in the Church St. atmosphere. Nice people and quality food.
My new favorite place! I had a fantastic iced vanilla-hazelnut latte based on a recommendation from the cashier (and maybe owner or manager?), and not only did she give my sweet pup a snack, she offered her a bowl of water. How incredibly thoughtful! I will certainly be back.
Leunig's Petit Bijou is my go too coffee shop whenever I travel to Burlington. Casey is an absolute superstar and a huge asset to this business; she is always welcoming with a smile. The vegan scones are yum and should be a food group. The coffee is always delicious with a huge selection available. HIGHLY recommend!
Ok, so I paid $27+ for 7 macaroons, but if they're fresh they're delicious. Make sure you ask because I've bought stale ones here before too. This place is super cute though and makes me feel fancy.
Insanely good fries 🍟
It was a nice little outside place and the poutine was ok but it was busy
One word: Beignets. Coffee is great and gourmet too, but… Beignets. That is all.
They got my order wrong. I asked for the roast beef sandwich, and they have me some sausage thing. The sandwich they gave me was prepackaged, cold, and awful-tasting. My partner’s sandwich wasn’t very good, but it was acceptable. Tiny portions, and by no means worth the price. I do not recommend this place if you want a sandwich.
We grabbed a couple coffees while strolling around in the cold. Lovely place and the staff was very nice.
I didn't get dressing with my Caesar salad nor ketchup with my fries. Maybe I was supposed to grab the ketchup myself? But if so, should have been pointed out. I was bummed because I love the restaurant.
The beignets are basically exactly what you want from a beignet They don't have some of the sandwiches and such until lunch it seems.
Great coffee ☕
friendly staff; quick eats- the food is unremarkable but there is a cute ambiance eating on church street.
