This place has amazing baked goods! I've had the banana bread with walnuts several times. Best around. Nice thick slices, and it's moist and flavorful. My partner-in-coffee had a caramel scone, and it was delightful (OK, I had a small piece). Also, friendly and helpful staff!

The coffee is excellent. Everything else was mediocre at best. The English muffins were nice but every other ingredient in the breakfast sandwich tasted like heavily processed factory food. The cinnamon roll was a drippy (not even gooey) mess. The texture was also very mass produced.

Unusually delicious apple crumble cake! Love the nook to sit in a sunny window.

Blackcap has become my go-to coffee shop and I am happy to be a loyal customer! Cozy atmosphere, amazing croissants (and I’m saying that after having lived in France for six months!), and super friendly staff. Their house-made almond milk is so creamy and delicious. I always get an almond mocha latte with an extra side of the milk because it’s that good. So grateful for this place:)

Far too overpriced for what you get. The “chocolate” croissants look good, but they’re actually just burnt rings and cold. I’m glad I got the smallest specialty latte (although it still cost like $5) because it ended up being way too sweet and I threw it out.

The pastries are amazing, the espresso drinks are so cool and I totally get why it's always packed in here! Wish they had a larger space, though. But they're doing everything they can with what they have, for sure.
