They no longer serve breakfast/cooked food. We used to come here often to get delicious food and amazing coffee, but today the drive thru was closed and they only had some pastries. I left to find a different place 😕
We really wanted to try Athena - went in on a Saturday before 11 and kitchen was closed? Really? No mention of that on web site…
Who knew that a phenomenal coffee shop would be hidden in Sandy of all places? The whole experience of going to Athena is great everytime. The atmosphere, the coffee, the kind baristas, all amazing. The special drink menu is where it's at! (The drinks are named after Greek gods!! So fun!!!) Even if I just get a cold brew, it's worth going to Athena. Better than going to Starbucks any day of the week, plus it's cheaper too.

My favorite coffee house to go to. All the staff are super friendly and make delicious coffee. Atmosphere is so comfortable, food is really tasty, pastries are fresh every morning from a local shop, and the coffee/tea options are really good!

The workers are so awesome and good workers. I guess I would like to see more relational conversations from the coffee baristas as someone who pays attention to that. I’m addition, it seemed like a stressful environment because there is only two people. Other than that, I loved the coffee, food, and environment.
Had the Athena brew, which was stellar, the paintings are awesome, and the baristas were really kind. Cannot recommend enough!
Good coffee, good atmosphere but unfortunately it takes one bad customer service experience to earn a terrible rating. For future instances, please don’t interrupt customers while they’re on a phone call just to tell them the shop is closing in two in a half hours... It’s rude. Sending positive energy your way.
I wish my experience was like everyone else’s! I looked up best breakfast near me and you guys popped up! I went and asked for a peanut butter banana toast and they let me know they weren’t serving any toast today but that’s what I came there for..a breakfast sandwich. My barista looked very depressed and didn’t smile at all. Looked like a very cool place. I would try again another time but I had my hopes up too high!
Stopped in for a quick coffee and fast/easy breakfast. The avo toast & chocolate croissant was delicious, the pistachio white mocha was AMAZING, but the service was the absolute BEST! Thanks Jamie for being awesome this morning 👏

One of my absolute favorite coffee shops! Mo and the rest of the staff are amazing. Kind, hard working, and fun! Drinks and food are so yummy. Atmosphere is the best. 11/10 recommend and you get to support a local, small business! :)
Sandy has always desperately needed a reliable coffee shop where someone can have a first date, work meeting or quiet place to study. Athena is it. Even though they aren’t open very late, they make up for it with delicious (albeit a tad pricey) coffee and snacks. Not to mention they frequently have live shows. AND they serve alcohol. It might just be my favorite coffee shop now (sorry, Sunset).
Mo’s bagel breakfast sandwich is the absolute best! Not to mention everything on their drink menu is incredible. I’ve been living here for years and after one visit, became my favorite local coffee shop. If you’re looking for delicious food, great coffee, high fives and good vibes, look no further.
Coffee flavor was great, only one guy working and it was very busy. He did a great job and knocked out everyone’s order daily fast. Atmosphere is warm and cozy, lots of areas to sit and relax and Enjoy your beverage.
I’m torn about giving this review. I want to give credit where it’s due but I want to keep this place to myself. I’ve been going to Athena for a minute. I have my morning meetings there with my crew and we all love it. Mo takes great care of us. We love her. The coffee is delish and so are the eats. And, the place itself is cool. Plenty of room. They even have a cool meeting space/event space upstairs. And it’s the first coffee place I’ve ever seen to do mimosas and Bloody Mary’s in the morning. You should check it out….after 9am when I leave.
