Food was, "ok". But overpriced, and tables were filthy.
Mortys is a small burger joint with excellent burgers and delicious fries (the sweet potato fries are FABULOUS). They have a deal every day (Thursday has a deal for their Iconic Burger meal) and a small, but delicious, selection. They have indoor and outdoor seating
Great food, great prices, great service and awesome atmosphere.
Not bad, okay priced, but really not much else around
I love eating here, but I never leave tips because of the nature of the service. Today, Lucas (the cashier) got to know me a little bit, was transparent about the tipping process, and left the iPad as I decided whether or not I wanted to tip. The kindness, clarity, and privacy led me to leave a tip. Would love this type of service from any restaurant and was impressed by Lucas today.
It takes quite a while for your food to be prepared. I ordered for a couple people waiting for their food and one person had ordered in front of me. It took 50 minutes for two burgers to be made. There were other folks in the restaurant that were eating and I suppose there were some online orders being taken. Anyway 50 minutes is too long to wait for two burgers. But I've also been when my wife and I are the only folks in the restaurant and it only took 10 to 15 minutes. Tonight when I got my order the fries were burnt. Of course I didn't know that until I got home. But I suppose it didn't matter because there were only 11 french fries for the entire order. I felt like I got a little bit ripped off tonight given the amount of time I waited and then the quality of the food. However Morty's still has some of the best burgers in the valley. So if you're willing to wait, check your food before you go make sure they got your order right and that the fries aren't burnt to a crisp and non-existent to a certain extent and I'm sure you'll have a great time.
Burger was delicious! Would recommend to anyone, we had philly burger. Big enough to share. Onion rings were homemade, so good!
I’ve eaten at Morty’s a lot so I feel like I have a pretty good grasp on their food Their fries are the best in the Cache Valley. There is no competition. They are perfectly crispy and use a chunky type of salt that makes them delicious. If you come to Logan at the very least visit here and try their fries. The burgers on the other hand are just fine. They’re truly nothing special, they taste like a burger you’ve had a thousand times at a sit down restaurant, which isn’t bad. What’s bad is the price. For $8-$10 it really doesn’t taste like it’s worth that price point to me. Nevertheless, Morty’s is still a must visit for the Logan area, their fries are truly something special.
Disorganized, a little overpriced, but good food. It feels like 5 guys except hipster and the owner is going through a divorce. IE no menus, random boxes lying around, orders were given out of order, and I waited 20 minutes to get cold fries. Also the soda machine is temperamental.
Excellent food, but had to wait quite a while for it. It seemed like the employees were more worried about taking new orders then fulfilling the orders of people who are waiting for their food still
I really like Morty's. It has really wonderful vegan options. Not only can you get the beyond patty on any of their burgers but they also have 3 specific veggie burgers ( 3-bean, portabella and a soy based patty called the Little-Buddha). My favorite is the Little-Buddha. You can make any of them vegan by asking for vegan when you order.
The hamburger and fries were the best I’ve had for quite some time!!
Best burger AND best fries in Logan. I make sure to visit here every time I an in town. They always have a specialty burger or sandwich that is fun to try. Great staff, great service, and great views from the town seating above the restaurant.
Really good food. Must try the scone fries with raspberry cheesecake. Needs more parking!
I gave this place a 5 star review for one simple reason, they have the best fries in town, hands down! Parking sucks, but that's okay because they have the best fries in town.
A great burger place! The sandwiches we got were both tasty. The chocolate raspberry milkshake and the scone fries were delicious. There was real raspberry in both.
Wow. I was blown away by the food here. The fries were top 3 ever for me. The shake though, best I've ever had. Seriously mind blowing how right it was. The burger was a top 10 burger for me. Prices are super reasonable too. I will be back.
Morty’s is great for its location right next to campus, especially when most dining on campus closes at 5 pm. We wanted something quick before going to an event on campus that started at 7. We walked in the door right at 6 pm and only waited in line a couple of minutes. After we ordered, the line backed up and we waited for our food. And waited. And then we waited some more. It took us 35 minutes to get our food, and all we got were burgers and fries. We then had to scarf down our food so we wouldn’t be late. The food tasted pretty good, but was quite messy; this isn’t somewhere I would go on a first date. There were only 4 employees working in the entire restaurant, which I’m sure contributed to the slowness, but Friday night has got to be one of their busiest times. Price was average for this close to campus. TLDR: Decent food, but be prepared for a decent wait.
My husband and I went to eat here today. It was delicious food and great atmosphere!
Not impressed. I've heard all the hype but the burger was overcooked and slightly dry, the wait was long, the dining area was over crowded and very loud. The onion rings were pretty good and the staff was nice tho
