Good food
Very helpful, great environment, very cute and friendly, free restrooms available. Open 8-9. Sells food and drinks, hiking/camping gear, maps, books and souvenirs. Gear/equipment is a bit pricey, but good stuff.
Stopped in for lunch today, very friendly staff, quick service, and wonderful pizza. Highly recommend.
Good place to grab coffee and a cinnamon roll. The outfitter store is connected so you can shop too; like a mini REI.

We were so surprised to find this restaurant. Great pizza!! Home made red sauce and home made sourdough pizza dough. We ordered the Chop Rock pizza. It was absolutely delicious!! It is a hidden gem and you should try this place if you are in Escalante!
This is a gem of this sleepy town. Its an outfitters, sovereign shop, excellent coffee shop, amazing sandwich shop, great showers only spot for RVers, and there are some cabins too. The sandwiches are amazingly fresh, full of veggies and displayed equally as well.
This restaurant shares the building with Escalante Outfitters. Just head into the main store and turn right. They got their pizza DOWN! We shared a pizza and a salad and a beverage. Glad we stopped in!
We ordered the mesa king pizza. By far one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time!
After a day of hiking and exploring these pizzas and salads are the best in the world! Don’t be disappointed by the tables’ availability, by the time your order is ready a table will be there for you and your party.
Excellent pizza 🍕 😋! We went Wednesday evening after hiking, it was pretty packed but the line at the counter to order moved quickly and our delicious big horn pizza was ready in half an hour. Says its 16 inches but looks huge definitely enough for 2 hungry ol codgers. Entry is a little confusing the restaurant is kinda at the back of a store. Definitely recommend 👌 👍

Phenomenal! We had the very best Pizza and Chicken Caesar salad EVER!! I wish I had taken my camera in. I so highly recommend this Restaurant for sure. I even had to stop and let the kitchen know how phenomenal our meal was!! Enjoy if you ever go!!

Absolutely fantastic food and really great environment. It’s a little on the pricey side, but the portion was large enough for me to get 2 meals out of it. Big fan
We know Pizza. We are very used. But this pizza here is really perfect. We had it two days in a row and I am still thinking about to have it tomorrow again. Coffee and breakfast also very good. Beer from tap very good and please try the perfect carrot cake… and you meet always nice people there and of course a very friendly staff. Wouldn’t expect that here deep in the nowhere. Edit 2022. - we were looking forward this place this year again and got awarded again. We love the place - the pizza - and the friendly staff, especially German Brigitte. CU on Sunday again.
