Owner is a super great guy. Definitely see some potential in this place. View of the water makes it an easy place to WANT TO BE. Only thing I would say is a tad bit lad compared to most cafes. Other than that, it’s one of my favorite spots

Nice little coffee shop with a view. The drop coffee and banana nut bread are great!

They don't stick to their opening hours. Place is supposed to close at 7 pm. Was closed before 6 pm.

I wanted to love the homeyness, but there were too many little misses that added up throughout my experience. I was the first person to order a drip coffee, so she made it fresh for me. Score. Except it was some kind of hazelnut blend, and I had no clue until I stuck my beak in the cup. It was an unpleasant surprise. The music was surprisingly loud for a coffee shop, and the play list was pretty distracting. There was also some construction next door that has nothing to do with this place, but ceaseless rhythmic pounding made it tough to concentrate on my work. The bayou view was a perk, and overall all of these things are small. Service was kind and welcoming. I’d try it again.

Cute little coffee place in the sugar creek. Nice place to take a breather from traffic and grab a nice coffee. I’m definitely coming back!

We picked today to try Embedo. Walked up to the door and tried it, locked. There was a sign on the door stating "Embedo Coffee will be closed on Saturday 03-18-2023 for an upgrade. We'll give them a try on another day.

Finally tried this place after passing it many times. I sits in an older strip center in Sugar Land that has many vacancies, so is easy to overlook. I spent about 30 minutes there relaxing in a comfy chair overlooking Oyster Creek. I liked the vibe. My capuccino was superb and the guy working there was very friendly. Maybe try some of their food next time.

Such a nice view of the creek if you’re sitting by the windows. Plenty of seating area and handful of tables to choose from. It gives that local coffee shop feel. I miss places like these when I used to live in San Antonio. Now that there’s one down the street instead of driving to Houston, I’m back in my element. One thing I noticed from coming here a few times is that the owner is always busy, but does everything. From greeting you to taking your order and bringing it personally to you. Handling phone calls, cleaning & sanitizing tables, etc. I’m not sure if he’s looking for help, but it’s always nice to see business is doing good every time I visit. Doing it alone at that, too! We need more places like these. Building community. I hope one day Stafford can do the same instead of building new eateries at The Grid.

I was in Sugarland for an appointment, search for coffee shops in the area and this is a hidden gem. I got a vanilla latte and banana nut muffin which were delightful. The gentleman working has the best customer service. I wasnt sure I'd dine in but I'm glad I did. This is the perfect remote work spot. I love the music, it's not too loud to have a conversation, the view of the sugar creek is my fav part. Last but not least I appreciate the fact that it's not freezing cold in here. I worked here for 4 hours.

Recently found this place looking for coffee near me, and I can say it’s now one of my favorite places. I loved their embedo addiction which is their white chocolate latte. It’s a nice spacious place with lots of seating and incredible coffee. Service is also incredibly nice and fast

This place was not welcoming at all. Felt dark and dungy. Needs a woman’s touch. Coffee was so so and bagel didn’t come with enough cream cheese to spread on the bagel

Quiet place for a morning coffee routine. Love the creek behind. Coffee tastes good, no bitterness after taste. Will come visit more often.
