I am really upset with my order.. I ordered a lg sweet potato fries, paid 6.75 for them! I can’t believe what I received. Also, I ordered a mushroom swiss burger with only cheese, mayo and mushrooms, I added grilled onions. My burger had mustard on it. The only thing that was great about the order is the appetizer combo that I got. Will not be going here again!! edit to add…. my daughter’s burger also had mustard when I specifically asked for no mustard or onions. I spent over 40$ on this order, definitely not worth it!!

We come here frequently and have never been let down! Lunch or dinner, it’s always delicious had the lunch special for Wednesday which was hamburger steak and it’s perfect! Sautéed onion on top with a delicious brown gravy. No matter what side you choose, they are all homemade and delicious! They have an amazing squash casserole that we really enjoy. The tossed salads are always very fresh! Stop in and enjoy the down home atmosphere!

Definitely a place for the typical Meat and Potatoes type of Texan. I came here with my wife after visiting a church nearby with some friends. I always like to try small mom and pop joints like this because you can discover some real treasures. Unfortunately, this not the case here. I had the fried catfish plate and my wife had the blackened catfish plate. When my plate arrived, I could tell just by looking at it that I was not in for a treat and my first bite confirmed this. Not only did the batter have zero flavor, as if it had been rolled in plain bare cornmeal, the filet was barley cooked. The batter tasted like it had barely been cooked and the filet inside tasted wet and mushy and tasted like it was slightly raw. I had not had breakfast and it was 1:30 in the afternoon and I was starving, so I choked down the filet, but it was not a pleasurable experience. For sides, I got the Beans and Squash Casserole. The beans were equally as bland. The squash casserole was acceptable, but tasted like it had been baked a while ago, frozen and reheated. The portions were on the smaller side, and had I actually enjoyed the food, I would have been hungry after eating it all. When I popped the cap on the ketchup bottle, it had built up internal pressure and it exploded on me and the table. I am not sure if it was the ketchup brand or if they had thinned it down with water, but it was the most watery ketchup I have ever seen. It was in a squeeze bottle, but you did not have to squeeze it. The ketchup just poured out like water when you tipped it over. I am not sure why it had pressure in the bottle. Since I got sick after leaving this place, I wonder if it might have been starting to go bad. My wife's blackened catfish was about the same thing as my fried catfish; barely cooked and flavorless. She did not eat much of anything on her plate, even though she was just as hungry as me. We did not ask for a doggy bag. On our way home, both of started feeling sick to our

My husband and I stopped for the first time for dinner tonight. We enjoyed good food and great service from Katy. Everyone else was super friendly including a nice gentleman dining there who helped up make space for the wheelchairs. When it was time to settle up we were surprised to find that someone had picked up our tab! Such kindness is a blessing that we will pay forward. And we will definitely be back!

All right people I have passed this place one time ttttoooooo many. Found a place to turn around and go back and I am glad I did. Old cafe setting and feeling. No music at all Thank God. Food is awesome had grilled pork chops bone in, Cole slaw and al's pinto beans. Food was awesome, service could be a touch better. A young server came out and take just my drink order, BLACK coffee and a small glass of water easy ice. She DID show me with her hands the size of water. Informed her that would be great. NEVER got my water. When I went to pay stated too bad there is no Texas garlic toast as that would have been great to soak up the pork chops drippings. Was told I could have asked for one when I order. Will remember that when I go back. YES, I will go again. Thank you grain Bin Cafe & Store for such good food. They also have a large outside back area as well.

Super delicious home cooking. The chicken fried steak was huge and nicely done. The steak fingers were also very good and a local favorite.
