I love the care they take with their coffee drinks. It shows in the presentation and the taste.
After a long NASA day chaparoning my kid and his classmates, we were in desperate need of good coffee. We found this local spot and loved the caramel latte & tumeric drink, customer service, and decor. We are happy customers. Our trip back to San Antonio is that much more enjoyable because of you. Thank you!
Awesome visit and awesome coffee!!! We travel a lot as well as have a lot of coffee and this has been one of the best and nicest places in a long time! Very clean, super awesome and nice people, killer awesome coffee, etc. I could go on and on. Had an awesome chat with the owner too...very cool dude!! This will definitely be our favorites coming to Houston from now on!!
Loved this shop. They put care into each drink, so even if the line is long, it’s worth it. Definitely recommend getting your drink “for here” so you can see the beautiful finishing touches they put on the lattes, etc. It was packed when i went on a weekday morning. Looking forward to returning!
The absolute BEST coffee presentation!! Whatever you decide to take from the menu, you will NOT be disappointed by the visual beauty! Their frappes are DELICIOUS and lattes are wonderful. The people working here are so welcoming and hospitable, it can't get any better than this. Shout out to the owner for instantly recognizing regular customers and greeting them with a welcoming and acknowledging smile! Will definitely keep visiting! Edit: Everytime I walk in here, I realize again and again why this place deserves a perfect 5 star. It's so easy to differentiate this place from literally every other coffee place in Greater Houston. Eagerly look forward to trying every coffee on their menu because the presentation is always a pleasant surprise!! Their choco chip muffin is great too!
Coffee is always top notch here and lots of seating options. The atmosphere is good, a bit loud at times because of the bustle. Kind and friendly staff!
John, the owner, has done an amazing job in creating a great coffee house experience. In a time of being rushed from place to place, this is a great spot to come sit and have a great cup of coffee. It's easy to see how much care goes into insuring every cup of coffee is the best it can be. If you want a great cup of coffee, you can't beat what Java Owl does.
Their lavender latte is the best in the area! So delicious! The owner is always helpful and so friendly!
Excellent authentic coffee house ! Intentionally curated and designed for a worthwhile visit! Superb menu…great owner/operator and staff. A must go if you are in the area! *no drive through… not the vibe…. Go to a chain if that’s what you need.
The vibes here are amazing. The coffee's are consistently delicious. Inside has a cozy and comfy, welcoming vibe. There's even an outdoor section so you can sit outside with your furry friends when the weather is nice. I love coming here and even their food is solid. Definitely recommend grabbing a coffee here when you're in Clear Lake. 4/29 Update: Still one of the best (if not the best) coffee places in the bay area! Always love coming to Java Owl for a coffee or tea. Great people and atmosphere. I come and work sometimes since the location is great and convenient too. Today I got the Honey Owl coffee, which is delicious.
Great little coffee shop near the Nasa center. Good food and the staff was very friendly.
Very friendly staff. The Texas sized greeting upon entering was awesome. The nitro cold brew is also awesome... Very creamy and great roasted coffee flavor!
Tried an iced citrus latte and the cookies and cream frappe, both were amazing.
Next level coffee here. Amazing flavor. Perfect temp. Wonderfully crafted. I also had an amazing cheese Danish. People running the place are really friendly, and it's clear they are working hard to give you a great experience along with quality coffee. Will be back!
Great place to study, read a book ,get together or simply have a coffee date. Such a great environment! 🥰 The jackfruit empanadas were delish. Great taste in everything! 💞 We will definitely be back. 💯
We stopped for necessary caffeination and the Owl filled that need nicely. My wife got her usual frozen blended thingy, it was amazing. I went with my usual hot cappuccino wit' two splendas, also done very well. We scored a couple excellent cookies, one cowboy and a coffee cake cookie....the coffee cake was good but the cowboy was the winner....comes with everything. They sell whole beans roasted by Zelie out of Sugarland and Geva....picked up some of the Java Owl Nassau Bay Coastal Espresso roasted by Geva....tried some and they get 5 stars from both of us. They had some nice t shirts, found one the right color with cool graphics and my size....very nice place and deservedly popular. We'll definitely be back for more when we're in this area.
This place is absolutely great. I spent less than what I would have at Starbucks for 2 people and left far more satisfied. If you haven't visited this place you owe it to yourself to try it at least once.
Such a great experience! The staff was beyond friendly and the owner working behind the counter had a fun personality. The decor is adorable and the outdoor seating is convenient, especially because of how busy it was inside. Overall great vibes at this coffee shop.
I love this place. They have these relaxed reading studying coffee shops in Vermont. Couldn’t find one in Houston. The coffee is awesome and so are the paninis!!
