If I where a school teacher I would give them an A+ Cute spot , friendly service , fantastic food. I had the cowboy hashbrowns . Then we took a walk in the park across the street
Went in for breakfast. Ordered a make your own omlette. The homemade salsa was so good. Food was delicious and it was Free coffee Monday! Would highly recommend if you're in old League city!
Coffee, Deserts, off hours calm and comfort food.
Friendly staff, descriptive help, vanilla latte with almond milk the local coffee is very smooth, I like trying new things they were trying out an elderberry buttercream on vanilla cake very yummy if you like floral, and the flaky soft empanadas spinach and cheese with salasa for the win 😄
Service was fantastic, the food was even better 😋👌
This is a very nice little cafe and bakery. They provide very generous portions of very good food. There isn't a lot of parking available, so get there early for lunch.
I had a great lunch (and dessert) here with my family on vacation. Menu was varied and creative, so we all found something interesting to try. I especially enjoyed a pumpkin empanada. Food tasted great, and we all enjoyed everything we ordered. The staff was very friendly and answered every request with a smile.
Visiting the area & enjoyed a wonderful brunch with my family! We started out with a sample of delicious empanadas & coffees. I loved them all! Then I got the special with a soup (super tasty potato soup), salad & a picture perfect club sandwich. I'll be enjoying it for dinner tonight as well because the portions were so big. Very friendly staff, easy parking & lots of indoor space, so our big group was seated right away. We will be back the next time we visit!
Wonderful all around! Food, service, staff are great! Very cute cafe!
Have been here a few times and the place is always clean. The staff is kind, wish I knew all their names, but have to say Lesley is awesome and super kind. They only have one restroom but it’s nice and very well kept. Very clean! The food is good and very filling for me and my family. Came today and they were pretty busy but the food came out pretty fast, service was great as per usual.
the baristas were chill and the space is cozy. we got there near closing time but they were still down to recommend drinks i might like. i got a small latte and an apple empanada and those banged. i don't live nearby but i'd love to come by again sometime
We have ordered from here several times and every single time, they manage to mess up our order by giving us the wrong soups or missing an entire sandwhich. Decided to give them another try after a hiatus, we didn't get our chips with our combo meals and the tomato for the house salad was fuzzy with mold. Like, straight up hairy tomato. Also, one of the soups appears to have a partial piece of a bug in it, it definitely had some legs to it. We threw the entire thing out. The empanadas are tasty and may be safe to eat compared to everything else we got. We will not be including this place in our rotation anymore.
I got a cake for my friends birthday and it came out so beautiful and really yummy! The only issue I had was I dropped off flowers that were to be put on the cake in the am and when I picked up the cake later that day they were all wilted, they were very lively when I dropped it off so I don’t think they were put in the fridge right away. After I picked up my cake I went to the store to put fresh flowers to replace the ones they let wilt. But over all Tom was very interactive when it came to talking about what I had in mind and it still came out beautiful, I’ll come back for future cakes.
Love the Chicken Bone Broth soup! The Poblano is also wonderful. The owner and people working here are so friendly and nice. Feels like home. ☺️
We ordered the white chocolate raspberry cake for our wedding and grooms’s cake and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! It was beautifully decorated, exactly how we had envisioned it. Many of our family and friends raved about how delicious the cake was. Thank you to Tom and the Rustika team! We highly recommend ordering your wedding cakes here!
Second time here, the staff is friendly, besides the occasional eye roll. Food is tasty with an eclectic menu. But don’t plan on getting full or close to it. French toast sandwich was 1 slice of toast cut into 1/4s to make 2 bite sized sandwiches and a 1/3 portion of hash browns. For $9.95. Was tasty but nothing worth writing home about. Also ordered a grilled cheese- 1 slice of cheese and 2 pieces of bead- please don’t go overboard now- 7.95 with homemade flour tortilla chips. All in all I love the idea of this place - just lacks execution.
Friendly staff Nice place to work from and enjoy a nice coffee or lunch.
Our visit today was less than stellar. We went for a late lunch around 3pm and ordered empanadas and a salad. The empanadas are pre made so usually do not take long at all to bring out. Just heat and serve. 5 min, 10 min, 15 minutes go by and not a peep from any of the 6 employees that were working there. 20 minutes in, and nobody attended to us at all. We asked for a refund as we were quite frustrated and they charged us for the tea anyways. There were only 2 other people eating yet they basically forgot we were there. Not our first rodeo with bad service here. Will NOT be coming back! Save your money and time and try other options.
Great local place with a good sized breakfast menu. I enjoyed a delicious breakfast of Migas. Also check out the pastry case with a wide variety of small desserts, cookies and empanadas.
nice friendly staff. traditional cafe. i’ll be back. note small menu
