Excellent breakfast tacos and some of the best cold brew coffee in Houston

Cool place in the east end where i have enjoyed coffee many times . Unfortunately this last time the coffee was good but the service was a little lacking. We had asked for some warm water for my friend’s baby (for his bottle) and were told they couldbt give us any! AT A COFFEE SHOP. We asked to buy it and were told they would see only to never get back to us. I was truly disappointed.
My friends kept telling me how good this coffee place was so I gave it a try and it was not it. The staff is nice but they had gotten my order wrong and I went back to tell I’m guessing I spoke to the owner he was really rude. I had told him that my order was incorrect and he still charged me for my drink and was just like okay. I had also tipped the first time so like messed up. The coffee was mid and so was the customer service. 0/10 Would not recommend.
Such a cool environment in the old ironworks, comfy couches, and the coffee and snacks are great

CJ: Hi how can i help you. Me: medium latte. CJ: 2% milk ok? Me: no. Whole milk please. CJ: we don’t have whole. Me: - in an ornery mood - what else ya got? CJ: oat or almond. Me: 😕 i’ll take 2% then. And a cranberry scone please. Both were ready in a jiffy as i was one of only a few people first thing on this Sunday morning. Really adorably cute pretty young lady with long black hair made a great cup of cawfee. Drank my cawfee, ate my really good scone to some really cool music set at the perfect volume. Read my book to the subtle chatter about the shop. Enjoyed it so much i wanted anutha. This time i got the banana nit muffin. I told CJ the 2% didnt make a difference im glad, im just a traditionalist!! 😋. Took it ta go on me way ta church. Good place. Looks brand schpankin new. Also has a juice bar. Definitely returning if im still in Houston next Sunday. (I may go back during the week just becawz). Segundo is a recommendation. Enjoyeee
Really chill spot, staff was super friendly. Espresso was great, and their chai tea is awesome 👍

I love mornings but I love mornings even more when I sip on a cup of delicious coffee. ☕️I’ve continued the coffee treks and will be sharing favorites. Segundo Coffee Lab is located in a cutely renovated space of small retail shops at the @ironworksmarketplace__ in an industrial area of Houston’s Second Ward neighborhood serves up a variety of coffees and food offerings. We sipped on our drip coffees in the cozy seating area where folks drop in to stare 😵💫 at their laptops—memories of my 9 to 5 days that I’m glad are long gone! 🤣 I liked the vibe and variety of coffees they serve. The atmosphere is everything. It’s a great place to leave the rush of the city for a bit and relax in this industrial style open space concept. All the store are in shipping containers.
Cinnamon roll was awesome, cortado and flat white almost there (4/5)
Cool spot to grab a coffee and bite! Chill ambience and you can take cool photos with the area!

It’s a nice place to meet up with friends or finish some work while having a good cup of coffee and some snacks, avocado toast is so good. It’s a busy place somehow.
