I've been here twice and enjoyed it both times. I had a crepe and tired the stroopwafel latte which were both excellent. Nice outdoor spaces.
Great coffee and food! What more do you need? Highly recommend
PROS: beautiful seating options, power outlets available, delicious coffee, kind staff Cons: beware, they aren’t open long! Make sure they’re open before you plan to go. This place is great for a quick coffee that tastes great. You order at a window and they call for you or bring it out if you sit in the back. Speaking of the back, there is a covered, shady back area full of beautiful water features and plants - it’s so relaxing. There are lots of games you can play. The coffee isn’t too expensive either. The staff members have always been so sweet to us. I strongly recommend this place and hope it gets more attention!
Location: midtown area/ labranch Staff: friendly, helpful, nice Time wait: none Seating: outdoor, there is a closed area to protect from rain/wind Price: average Taste: stroopwael oat milk latte/ hot It was very tasty and full to the size of the cup Food: muffin asked to be warmed and I loved the crispy top Parking: lots Great relaxed spot, lots of available seating and parking.
The service was zero. From taking the order to how long it took to get ready. The Order came out horrible. They got my order all mixed up. Had to walk up to them twice about not getting my orders right. At a point I just left the food. Total waste of $38.
Coffee was decent and the concept of the sweet vs savory crepés is cool. Ordering is a tad awkward since the staff are far back from the window where you place your order, tipping is also strange since you do not choose to select the tip you leave but they ask you since they are keeping a distance from the order window.
I wanted to try the savory crêpes for lunch. I saw the good reviews. There's plenty of free parking. You order through a window. There is no indoor seating. I ordered the smoked salmon crêpe. It was a bit salty. $12 is a bit steep. They have plenty of electrical outlets for electronics. The young man who waited on me was very friendly. Food is brought to the table. It looks like they have heating lamps for the winter. Water fountains provide a soothing sound. They were playing different types of music that ranged from bachata to Prince and Michael Jackson. There were flies when I was eating. I don't know if that's normal for the place or just a bad day. Perhaps I should try a coffee next time and I'll like it more than my crêpe.
Stopped by the other day & had a lovely breakfast the stroopwaffle latte & breakfast taco were wonderful!
You know how there are places that have a lot of attitude but it is justified because their food and drink is great? This is all attitude and no taste Better places out there, do not recommend
Good vibes. Great service. A bit expensive for mediocre food / drink though. Got a cappuccino and blueberry muffin and they were just alright
I have been coming here for years, and I keep coming back for a reason. Multiple reasons actually. The coffee is amazing, and the people behind the counter are super friendly. The atmosphere is super chill and it has become a real Houston staple. Bless this beautiful establishment.
Retrospect is my favorite part of my mornings. Everyone is always very nice and the coffee is fantastic.
Best coffee and pastries in the area. Staff is amazing.
This one's a very cool place. They also got good coffee.
Service is slow and drinks are either too sweet or too bitter. The set up to pay is awkward too because you have to tell them (rather than select) how much you want/not to tip.
This coffee shop really rocks!!! I love their coffee and their concept of a gorgeous creative space to enjoy your cup of joe. The building is a historical building and they keep it in excellent shape. The staff is very friendly!
Good coffee. No the greatest place to sit and chill but the coffee was good to pick up and go. Very friendly staff - some of whom knew about coffee. I won’t knock off a star off because good coffee is hard to find but it was a bit pricey. I get 4.50 for a cappuccino in the Heights or Montrose but in this area I expected to be cheaper.
Wonderful spot with very filling savory (and sweet) crepes. The Janis Joplin is a must! Loved the Matcha Latte.
I've been coming here since about 2020, nearly 3 times a week It's by far one of the most consistently good coffee shops in Southwest Houston, they have a revolving espresso of the week, and most importantly, the people are always nice and glad to see me. I regularly get their Cold Brew coffees, usually with and extra shot, and the cold brew is always well made and not over extracted. Espresso are good whether staying and drinking or on the run They also have a number of different crepes available, and they're quite large! Don't be afraid of coming hungry, you'll have plenty to eat I'll be going back, probably the day after this posts. They're my coffee shop
Fun little coffee joint, would recommend their drip coffee and crepes. We got their strawberry and nutella crepe, as well as their “I’m a Hog” crepe (ham and cheese) that were both amazing. They’ve also got a cozy heated area in the back with a killer playlist. These guys rock.
