Great variety of drinks and hot breakfast sandwiches. We've only done drive through, but atmosphere is modern and upscale.
This coffee shop was awful. They only include 1.5 shots of espresso in the americano, instead of the standard 2 shots that EVERY other coffee shop includes for the same price. The coffee taste watered down and the lattes are way to sweet(probably not putting much coffee in the lattes either). If you want really bad coffee this is the place for you. :) I recommend cafe zunzun down the road as an alternative if you’re in the area. This shop needs to stop trying to save pennies.
It's a really great location with friendly staff! Their Café au lait French roast is delicious, and their beignet bites are a fun treat!
The cheese danish could have had a little more cheese but it was still VERY good, and the coffee... HOLY MOLEY! THAT ... That... Was what was UP!

This place doesn’t know what they’re doing. “1.5 shots” of espresso for a $5 MEDIUM Cappuccino?! It’s insulting to separate out 1/2 a shot from the normal 2shots and screw your customers out of that. Does .5 of a shot really make that big of your bottom line? Never going back to this clown shoes place again. If their doing this, they’re skimping everywhere.
Decent coffee, need to try again.. cheese danish was meh..

I was looking for beignets in Houston and I found the French Press Coffee House. I ordered MANY several times for large groups. Everyone loved them and I highly recommend them!! I also tried a brown sugar/cinnamon scone that was delicious. Thank you French Press!!!! 👍🏻😋

Was my first time coming to French Press and had a really great experience. I got the crème brûlée latte and tried ordering beignet bites that are made fresh daily. However they ran out but the assistant manager John was so accommodating and offered another pastry to me on the house. I really appreciated the genuineness they had towards customers since that lacks everywhere else these days. I loved the service and the coffee, will definitely recommend this place and come back often.

I have been here several times and anything I have ordered has been great. Clean, courteous service, background music stays in the background so that you can visit. Will be back. Just wish that they didn’t close at 4:00. This would be a good place to have a coffee and a treat while working on the computer.
If you’re like me then you rely on reviews before you go to a restaurant or coffee shop etc. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but geeeez this is one of the worst cappuccinos I’ve ever had! I honestly don’t know how this place has 4.6 star reviews! The first one I ordered was a large cappuccino with almond milk which tasted like hot milk! Absolutely no coffee taste whatsoever. They decided to remake it into a small mug…mind you I paid for a large, and took it upon herself to top that nasty froth on top with cinnamon! The cappuccino doesn’t even look like a cappuccino! Horrible! Absolutely horrible coffee! Terrible “beignets”! Breakfast sandwich..:let’s not even discuss! That’s enough! I want my money back! Never again!

This is our favorite coffee place in Texas!! Anytime we are anywhere nearby we will stop. Haven't had a bad drink yet and the service has always been excellent!
Family and I are visiting Houston and decided we wanted some beignets and I’m so happy we did. We discovered this place and let me tell you…it’s amazing. We were helped by John and he is such an wonderful person. He went over the full menu and even recommended some amazing choices for us to try. Our favorite was the strawberry dipping sauce to go with the beignets, it definitely took the beignets to the next level just as he said it would. Also we tried the signature drink “southern pecan” the frozen one and the hot one and both were amazing! I’m so in love with this place and wish we had one Fort Worth, TX! But until then this will be my go to every-time I’m in HTown!!!
This place was amazing! I was craving some beignets while on a trip to Houston, and I found this coffeehouse. Immediately the interior feels welcoming and comfortable. There are benches, smaller tables, and high tables. The costumer service was amazing! We were automatically given recommendations since we were new comers! We had the freezes southern pecan and fudgeslice. Both were wonderful. The beignets were delicious! Closest I’ve had to New Orleans.
