Best horchata/late in town , fast and great service.
I stopped at the drive through and got a latte and vegan kolache The kolache wasn't very good, and it was messy to eat, especially as they only have a drive-through and I had to eat in my car. It was mostly just crumbled tofu and light on all the other fillings that were in it. The coffee tasted burnt and the milk was so over-steamed I couldn't drink it for more than 20 minutes. When I did, it was sub-par at best. They get two stars instead of one for having a vegan option, but I won't be back for it, especially now that there are other vegan kolaches out there that are much better. I recommend the owners switch to "Vegan Kolache" if they are available to supply them. The website is vegankolache dotcom
I've been here a few times, but today when I went through the drive-thru the worker was really off-putting and quite rude. Maybe it was just an off day for them, and I'm sure it is not indicative of the entire staff but I can't say I've ever had a positive/memorable customer experience here. The couple of different coffee drinks I've tried are not bad, but also not amazing.
Good coffee. Nice (large) pastries. Awesome drive thru service.
Awesome coffee is way better than Starbucks trust me!
Delicious coffee and I tried their cream cheese danish, it was soooo good 🤤
Decent coffee at this drive thru only place. Ordered a large iced coffee, and was surprised that the size was still fairly small, so comparable to Starbucks prices. Also asked for light ice and got the cup filled with tons of ice. Coffee itself was pretty good - not the best in the area, but still good. A bit too sweet to my liking. No complaints about the service.
Everything was disgusting. The blueberry muffin was ok. But the cinnamon roll tasted like garbage. Nobody would get eat it. Then the horchatta was made with coffee which it didn't say it was coffee. It Said latter and asked me which kind of milk I wanted. Nobody like it. Pass this place up.
Visited twice on 2 different occasions. The iced chai with a double shot is absolutely delicious. I did not find the staff to be friendly at all actually I found them to be super dry. I asked for nonfat and the girl said "ok" but then I had to ask her "is it nonfat, skim milk?" She responded that it was 2%.... ummm that is definitely NOT nonfat and I felt that it was very misleading (I ended up getting almond milk). They were very fast in making the drink. Drink was good, vibes not so good.
I wanted to try a new coffee shop today. I stumbled upon Clutch city while cruising. First of all, the customer service was phenomenal. I ordered a large iced mocha with almond milk. I asked to add a double shot. Here's the kicker. She told me the drink already came with a triple shot. I'm glad I got a large. It is very delicious 😋 and not too sweet
Not even from Houston Btw it's HOU not htx. This isn't Austin transplant :)
Good coffee! Bummed they didn’t have the breakfast tacos yet.
Love this drive thru coffee shop! Awesome coffee and they also have amazing breakfast tacos, which I get every time I go! Their cold brew is top notch. The staff is always super friendly and I always have a great experience when visiting this place. And the drive-thru is super convenient! Super happy I found this place and a stop here is def a highlight of the day.
Great prices, Better coffee!
I got the maple pecan coffee and did not like it even a little, but my friend got a pumpkin coffee that was really good.
Love this place
Always a great experience every time I come!! Staff is always so nice and helpful!! One of my favorite places
Delicious coffee and friendly staff! I came during BoGo and got a hazelnut iced coffee and an iced Chai tea latte. The cream cheese danish is huge and so good! I'd go there over Sb if I'm in the area 💯!
One of the cooler spots in Houston. I've visited before and the drinks are basic, nothing spectacular but they have interesting add-ons if you're into CBD. Nonetheless the staff are friendly. I was just really disappointed at how their "Horchata" is made. Their Horchata is made...with milk. Horchata shouldn't be made with milk, at least not traditionally. The milk cancels out the rice, especially when you add expresso. I ordered their iced Horchata and I received essentially a latte. I called after to see how they make it, and as I suspected...they use milk, not water, to soak the rice and cinnamon. It has zero cinnamon/rice taste to it, just a heavy espesso taste. If they made it correctly, they would have just used water, rice, cinnamon sticks and maybe some vanilla/sea salt. Blend. Then discard the cinnamon and rice. Then use that rice water for their drinks, add espresso, then cinnamon on top and MAYBE a splash of milk (or evaporated milk) mixed with the expesso beforehand if you want it to be creamy. Otherwise, they should tell people it contains milk, because I don't drink milk and wasn't expecting to when I ordered this.
I was doing a pick up from them yesterday, for a customer. I asked the young lady at the window, how long have they been in business and she told me since 2020. I was shocked, because I have never heard of this place. She offered to make me a coffee after seeing my face that they won the award for best local coffee. Now, I was really wanting to try it. OMG! I wonder if they heard me cussing because it was delicious! I mean she made it with sugar, spice and everything nice! The espresso tasted fresh, and it wasn’t overly sweet! I am coming back as a customer before I clock in a shift. I highly recommend! I love the taste of coffee, and the area I live in only have large chains, that I used to love but in the last few years, I have been looking for something fresh and not overly sweet! This is definitely it!
