Excellent coffee, food and service. We had the Jalapeno biscuit sandwich and the very tasty Chicken and Waffles. The chicken wings in my chicken and waffle dish were very tasty, juicy with the right amount of crisp. 🤤. The best part is that it's for a great cause. I love this place!

Really good coffee! Love the atmosphere and vibe. Like the charity work they do. You can tell they care just by being in there. Very cool place!

Cute little coffee shop. Good selection of unique menu items but simple and modern as well. Food closes at 1ish. Small parking lot and not much else around the area to walk to. People hang out here to do work, talk with friends etc. There are chairs, couches, armchairs, high stools etc.

i love their food and coffee, but its not an ideal place to study. Every time I come here to study though, the music is pretty loud and its hard to focus on anything you're doing. I try to stay strapped with my noise-cancelling airpods WITH my over-ear headphones on top otherwise I can't hear my own study material videos. The music also is very heavy with hard basses or high vocals (not like normal coffee shop music) so that also is tricky to get work done here. Would definitely request management to please turn it down when they can. I think this coffee shop is more to hang out/catch up with friends!

Coffe was good and the shop is very nice and clean. Honestly one of the only coffe shops you can find in lindale park/near Northside area. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of parking

Coffee with a mission! Location: New location off Fulton Staff: nice and friendly, do keep in mind a lot of them are volunteers and might not be familiar with certain duties but do be patient and communicate as they will do the best to help. Price: average Taste: all things I have tried are always delicious Black excellence menu did not disappoint. Waffle peach cobbler with wings was a great hit. The raspberry latte was definitely comforting and sweet.

What a great coffee shop! The atmosphere is charming! The concept is giving back to help fight human trafficking. The coffee was great and the atmosphere was inviting and able to get some work done. The ladies at the counter really knew the history of this cute place and I really appreciated their feedback and provided different ways Houstonians can partner with a 2nd Cup! I will definitely be back and I highly recommend this place.

Great atmosphere with plenty of seating, both inside and out. Outlets are abundant and comfy couches available too. Food and coffee are AMAZING. Staff is lovely and seem to almost all be fluent in sign language. I’d come here just for the good cause but I think this will become my new favorite coffee/breakfast spot in Houston. The cheddar chicken jalapeño biscuit was incredible and the chicken cooked PERFECTLY. Would come just for the chicken by itself. The quiche was lovely as well and the coffee the best I’ve had in Houston I think.

Great service! What I don’t like is too many preservatives put into the coffee. Nothing like straight coffe like medium or dark roast. There coffee is too much of that foo-foo stuff that takes away from natural coffee flavor..Nothing like coffee Ive had before..

First time here and they didn’t disappoint with breakfast. Kudos to the cook for doing an amazing job. Even giving us great customer service! Vibe is low key and you can actually think.

Love the new space!! The outdoor seating is amazing …. And it’s also a great escape from the really loud indoor music. I love the mission of 2nd cup and have been coming here for years, including the heights location. I just wish the music inside wasn’t so loud. It was never this loud at the old location.

Editing my original review from 4 years ago to add that the coffee tastes even better at the new Lindale location. And I can’t wait to use the outdoor space. I go here quite often as it is very close to my kid’s school. They are very nice but this place is more than friendly staff and good coffee. It is coffee with a cause. Go check it out!
