My original 1-star post is below. They since made masks optional, so that complaint is only for the insane Age of Masks. So I'm awarding 3 stars for decent coffee and a limited menu. I prefer Just Love Coffee (and Star Coffee in RR before Lamppost took over that location). ******************** Products are OK, but y'all gotta lose the mask requirement. I was told yesterday that you "can't serve anyone who is not wearing a mask." As I looked around and saw NONE of the customers wearing masks, I thought to myself "Can't, or won't?" I didn't make a scene, or use logic to explain how sitting doesn't make one "more safe" than standing. Likewise, holding a latte doesn't make one "more safe." I mean, if your coffee sterilizes your customers, just how hot is that coffee? LOL There was literally NO DIFFERENCE between me and any other unmasked person there except some of them were mid-sip or mid-bite...and that they walked in with a mask only to take it off seconds later, and I just skipped the mask altogether. Other business owners are not living in fear and are allowing customers to make their own choices, and those are the places I will spend my money. My life is normal now, and you're not part of it, until you return to normal too.

Good coffee. Lamba half sweet iced had too much ice however. Cashier didn’t say one word to me-not even hi-just stared at me. Very awkward and unwelcoming.

This was my first visiting the coffee shop at Georgetown, TX. Beside the spectacular town's downtown, Lamppost is a really a nice place to visit. Even though it is not a luxury place, it is clean and plain. Nice coffee, good attention, and great atmosphere. Good place for working, chatting, or just enjoy a personal moment.

Person taking order said recipes are so secret that the employees don't even know if there is vanilla in them.

Absolutely horrible service. Both people behind the register have no personality at all. Took forever to get three coffee drinks made. People that came and ordered after I did got their orders before me and left. Bathroom was disgusting. Will not return.

My rating, 5 stars being best - Overall: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ - Food: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ - Location: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ - Service: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ - Atmosphere: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ - Pricing : ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ This coffee shop is part of a chain of Lampost coffee shops around town. This location feels new and is bright and spacious in beautiful Georgetown downtown. - Food - a good set of choices for food and drinks. Had the Lamba Latte (a bit too sweet for me - based on a secret recipe with hazelnut and brown sugar). Some unique bagels like Rosemary Sea salt and standard bakery fare including muffins (vegan options too!) - Service - Prompt, friendly and courteous. They even pronounced my name right which in itself is a rarity! - Prices - They were higher than average - $6.30 (with taxes) for a 16 Oz Latte is a bit too rich for my wallet! - Location / Atmosphere - Beautiful location; Huge shop with lots of seats. - Restrooms - Spotless, clean and well maintained. - Etc. - Pets are also allowed. Overall, great experience but not as much value for the money.

From fermented beans to zebra striped gum flavored drip coffees. The coffee wasn't quite for my taste but they really take a unique approach to flavor profiles and have plenty of space for studying and meeting. Bags of beans were priced higher than usual but you get a free coffee if you buy a bag. Which was a great concept!

Great location with plenty of room inside and out. Service line runs slow due to baristas personal chit-chat . Floorboards, doors, windows, door handles need a good scrub. Coffee is average. Overall my opinion is it's over rated... but it's got a great location.
