Friendly staff, great service, and fantastic coffee! One of the best coffee spots I’ve ever been to, if you’re in the area make sure to stop by!
My friend and I work remotely and decided to work from this coffee shop. It wasn't so busy when we arrived and the barista was able to explain their specialty drinks. I especially love that they also sell baked goods! Will definitely be back in the near future.
This is probably the best coffee in Fort Worth. I say that reluctantly because I don’t want it to be packed every time I go, but I’m feeling generous today. ✌️
Cute smallish place. Had the great drip coffee--note that refills are $1. They ran out of tacos so I had the sausage biscuit which was ok. Parking is kinda tight.
This is the real deal coffee shop. Coffee is delicious and the atmosphere is perfect. Great friendly customer service.
Very nice place. Comfortable. I ordered a double espresso. They served it with seltzer. Got some writing done. They had a 70s Playlist on the speakers. The cashier was nice. Said bye to me when I left. That was thoughtful. I'd definitely go back. The bathroom was clean.
I’ve been visiting Crude for over three years now and have always been more than happy with my whole experience! To start, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The coffee and food is consistently delicious and crafted to perfection! Each season, the menu is unique and guaranteed to please. To top it off, without fail, the baristas are warm and friendly. It’s clear that Crude values their customers and the work they do. I appreciate having such a wonderful local coffee bar here in Fort Worth. No doubt the best in the city!
I’ve been to Crude a number of times, and each time has been totally fine and uneventful. But today, I walked over from my place with my dog and had the worst experience I’ve ever had a coffee shop, probably ever. As soon as I walked in and got in line, Nate, the guy working the register rolled his eyes. Nate did not make eye contact with me, he did not greet me—nothing. I obviously then felt self-conscious and asked “oh, do y’all not normally allow dogs here?” knowing full and well that I have seen multiple dogs at this coffee shop during my prior visits. Nate muttered a single “no” under his breath, to which I responded “oh, well I wasn’t planning to stay...” Instead of acknowledging my response, Nate hustled away from the counter in silence. When I get to the front of the line, Nate asked another worker to work get my order. Now, at this point, I’m livid. I’m not sure what set Nate off—whether it was racism, my dog, or both. (Nate is a white man, and I am an Asian woman.) Regardless, treating people with this level of disrespect is subhuman and no way to run a business. After getting Nate’s name from the other worker, I promptly said, “I’m not interested in ordering anymore. I found that entire interaction very disrespectful.” Luckily, I was able to walk two blocks to Summer Moon, where my dog and I were welcomed with open arms. They even gave my dog a pup cup. Total 180 of an experience, and the half winter moon I ordered was delicious.
Best scones and pastries, not to mention coffees. This is a must stop must get place. Try the crude and stormy!
I really enjoy this local coffee shop! The seasonal drinks are always fun and delicious, there’s a decent amount of seating, and the staff are friendly.
My husband and I love Crude for their Matcha, but recently I ordered carrot cake and strawberry cookies for an event and Crude did not disappoint! Teresa made the best cake I’ve ever had. If you need any sweets for an event in Fort Worth, this is the place to order from! Thank you Teresa! And thank you Crude!
Got the drip coffee like I typically do and it was really bitter today. I told the guy making the drinks and he looked at me and said, “we usually have it dialed in so it shouldn’t be bitter.” Wouldn’t have bothered me if he didn’t say it so rudely. I was in a good mood so I told him either way it doesn’t taste good so I’ll pay for a cold brew. I made the mistake of not trying it. It was more bitter than the drip. So I just tossed it and plan to get another coffee when I get to the airport.
We love this little coffee shop. It's tucked away in the up and coming SoMa district and can be crowded at times, but is always pretty quiet...when our kids aren't with us. They have a nice, but not huge, selection of sweet and savory baked goods to go along with some excellent coffee options. Kids had: strawberry cream cookie and some of my Vietnamese coffee We had: Good Morning Vietnam and Iced Cold Brew If you're in the area, it's a can't miss.
Chill coffee spot to meet with old friends or get some studying done. Excellent coffee.
to coffee lovers 😍 if you like good coffee, come here fresh coffee ☕️ delicious dessert 🧁 and nice service, I recommend it 🥰 quality coffee.
Tied for favorite coffee shop in Fort Worth. Such a cute moody vibe inside. The baristas are great (Noble and Josh are favorites), pastries and good options are super good, playlists are killer, and most importantly the coffee is always EXCELLENT. Their pour overs are sourced from all over the world so you get to try a lot of fun things. They usually have two drip and espresso options. Their signature Crude and Stormy is punchy and delicious. I’ve seriously never had a bad drink and have tried a variety of things from cortados to teas. The blueberry muffin they sell the best I’ve ever had - wall to wall packed with berries. It’s to die for. There’s a good mix of comfy and more structured seating, with options of light levels. You could even start at the front window and then need a break, and pull the shade down! I love that option. It’s mostly street parking outside of their tiny light, but I’ve never had a problem finding a spot. Truly my #1 meeting spot with friends if I’m getting coffee outside of the shop I work at.
Good drinks and tasty food. Kind and attentive staff. Cozy interior.
Coffee quality is on point. The quality of coffee in DFW/Denton has steadily declined over the last several years. This place reminded me that good coffee still exists and it matters how you pull shots and steam milk. They bring in serious coffee roasters from all over the world. Thank you. Also the scone was perfect.
I love it here. Such a cozny vibe and nice atmosphere. Love the coffee and the pastries :)
Good experience. Staff was pressed by the many customers on a cold weekend day, but seemed to balance all gracefully. The blueberry pie was the stand out with the bacon, egg taco a soggy, tepid last place finish. And the coffee was excellent.
