The coffee is delicious, taste like coffee not syrup and sugar.
I stopped here on my way to work this morning on the recommendation of a freind and I was not disappointed at all. A quick rundown of the location and building, it is very close to TWU, Rosedale St., and HWY 287, so fairly easy to get to. The parking lot is huge, with many spaces to accomodate any vehicle, they do not have a drive-thru, however, I enjoyed that because the interior was inviting and warm. I could see myself spending time there working on projects, meeting with clients, or just sitting down and enjoying my drink. Speaking of my drink, I ordered an iced matcha latte with oat milk, of all the matcha's that I have had in the area, this is one of the best. NO need to add any extra sweeteners like agave or honey, it was just right. I literally spent the next two hours trying to space out my sips so I could enjoy it as much as I can. I really wanted to get in my car and head back and get another one. Usually I make a matcha every morning before work, but after having theirs, I am going to break that habit. Don't pass up Black Coffee, you will be amazed what this local shop has to offer.
TLDR; Best cup of coffee in the best coffee shop. Hands down. Look y'all. I've been a Black Coffee regular the entire 3 years I lived on the Eastside. It's only the second coffee shop I've ever sworn allegiance to. I have had literally HUNDREDS of cups of coffee here. I have tried coffee shops all over the Metroplex, and all over DFW. And this one is in my top 3...all. time. Out of every cup of coffee I've had...anywhere I've ever been. From Seattle, Montreal, NYC, Houston, and so many coffee shops in-between...this is one of the best lattes you will ever drink. And if you don't come for the coffee, come for the pastries. Man that guava tart is good. If you don't come for the food or the drinks...come for the vibes. The people at Black Coffee, L.O.V.E. the community they're in. They work in, for, with, as part of, around the Eastside. They are doing everything that you would ever hope a community business could possibly be doing, and doing it so well. Pic from one of my very first visits to Black Coffee when I was searching for any happiness to get me through the end of that pregnancy.
I love this community coffee house. The community feels very close and allows people to be open and welcomed.
Love the place, the vibe and energy is amazing. Mia is a great business owner. Thanks!
If you live in the east of Fort Worth don’t forget to stop by and support our local coffee shop!!
Great place to meetup for small business meetings if one on one. We stopped in and remote worked for half a day.
It was ok for a small group meeting, quiet and the coffee is superb. You go to the counter to order and pick up yourself. No wait staff.
The coffee was amazing, I got a seasonal beverage and it was so delicious. The service was quick and friendly and I’ll definitely be coming back to get a much needed moment of relaxation.
Consistently excellent coffee. I usually just get house brew, but have had some wonderful specialty coffee and tea drinks. Great selection of baked goods... but it's always the Cruffin for me!
Chill place that makes the most amazing espresso drinks. I'm counting the minutes till the Raspberry Beret comes back!
What's not to love about Black Coffee? From drink selection, to atmosphere, this place is a jewel in the Poly community. Constantly evolving getting better everyday.
Great local coffee shop in a neighborhood you wouldn't expect to find one. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
Coffee was only okay. I got an Americano that was VERY weak. They added an extra shot that didn't change much (it was the tiniest shot I've ever seen). I guess the coffee is just light or really weak. The green tea latte looked good so I'll try that next time.
I just ordered an iced mocha with half and half (breve) and it is just right. Not too sweet, and not too bland. Love being a TWU student and having Black Coffee right by campus. Thank you, and will be back for that gingerbread syrup 🎄🎅
I went here on a Tuesday morning and I loved the vibes, coffee, and design. However, the place was kind of small and the place started filling up, so it got kind of loud. The atmosphere was great, but if you're looking for a quiet chill place, this wasn't it for me today. Definitely recommend for the coffee and breakfast!
A great vibe with great staff. This is such a sweet coffee shop and I'm excited to come here more often!
I have been coming here for about a year now and each time I come in I am never disappointed! The coffee is always delicious and the pastries are so good! Mia and her staff are amazing and so friendly! I recommend trying the Brown Sugar Babe cold brew. It’s a seasonal item but it is so delicious!
Cool vibe, friendly, bakery items. Located near Texas Wesleyan. Go and support our local businesses.
This is a great place to hang out have some of the best coffee anywhere and the nicest folks in this messed up world if ours. I have no idea what it is but from the employees to the patrons it's like you step into a different world. Everyone that comes is great and one can't leave Black Coffee without gaining a brighter outlook on the day. Keep it going Black Coffee.
